RSC LA Stephanie Zimbalist and Gregory Harrison 

Enjoyed the relaxed, informative nature. The natural friendship, earned respect and fondness for each other, displayed by Stephanie and Greg. And the humbleness of of their perspective of their Hollywood careers. Greg saying he didn't work for four years when he came to Hollywood yet kept at it, studying acting. Stephanie talking about the humiliation of negative reviews recently received with their play and coming up with her version of a positive 'spin' -- 3 out of the 6 trades and L.A. dailies were 'thumbs up' re her; and as she animated with a clear, downward arm movement for the camera and audience amplifying the other 3 clearly 'thumbs down.' What 'a feather in their cap' and how fortunate they were to be cast and worked on "Centennial". Around 10 years ago I bought the DVD set, having missed its network run on NBC, 1978 - 79, and was truly mesmerized. The 26 hours sounds daunting by it massive length, but one or two episodes each night sooner than anticipated becomes three; the experience just flows and the admiration for the undertaking is deserving. Speaking of Stephanie's lackluster experiences with reviews I -- like well over half the viewers, estimated, of this half hour -- must critique the host, who sounds informed of Hollywood and its people. Until . . . 28:12 - 28:16 Stephanie: " . . . my pop . . ." Host / questioner: "Your father in the business?" If Greg had been taking a sip of water RIGHT THERE he would have 'lost it' and done a 'Danny-Thomas' and spit it out as far as the opposite end of the table. [as the comedic actor was known to do with coffee on "The Danny Thomas Show" / "Make Room for Daddy"]. Zimbalist is hardly a common name. BUT it became a household name from Stephanie's father, Efrem Zimbalist, Jr.'s prolific acting career, most notably starring roles of two iconic ABC dramas, "The FBI" (1965 - 74) and "77 Sunset Strip" (1958 - 64). Stephanie's grandfather, Russian born Efrem Zimbalist, Sr., was 'one of the great classical violinists of the twentieth century' [IMDB]. ALL THAT having been said, how was this host / questioner so totally in the dark on his female guest's lineage -- something most would have performed a modicum of research before taping? . . . . I hadn't noticed it before viewing this, how sweet, soft, gentle, feminine, appealing, mesmerizing Stephanie's voice is. Such nice attributes to be gifted with. "Thank you, Tardan Media."
