Greetings! Sorry, English is not one of my prominent assets since it is my third language. Because of that, maybe what I am about to ask you might think this video already made clear. You mean to tell me that this one piece/race suit is being sold for below 600£, with an electronic/gas driven airbag included and built into the suit ? It sounds too good to be true to be honest. What is the catch ? That you will be better of butt naked and hope that your balls will soften your fall ? I have heard of other suits like this from other brands that costs more than double the price of this where you have to send back the suit after a crash for a check that everything still is in working order. Do you guys know , since I live in Sweden and RST is a British brand, does that mean I have to send it to England even though I bought It in Sweden ? I also did not hear you mention anything about paying a subscription each year to keep this suit working ? Did I totally miss you mentioning that or am I wrong about a sub ? Sounds like it is kind of a big deal if true to let people know hat you have to pay extra for a subscription for suit to work.. Thanks in advance
Hi Mathias RST produce a high quality product they are one of the top brands out there, their products are excellent. this video was produced by RST the purpose was to cover the details and features of the suit they did not mention the subscription fee. in the description on our website we explain that there is a subscription fee to pay for the airbag to work. this fee is paid to inmotion not RST. Inmotion also supply other leading brands with their technology and they also require a subscription fee to work. the fee can be paid monthly and switched on and off so you can pay for the summer months and not the winter when you may not be using it, you can also choose to buy outright the box that triggers the suit but it will not be updated or maintained by InMotion. The airbag suit can withstand multiple detonations of the airbag vest, however in your best interests, RST recommend that the suit be returned after three detonations so that the suit can be checked by RST, however it is not mandatory. This inspection service is carried out free of charge by RST as part of their commitment to keeping you safe. it will need to be sent to their HQ in the UK. for comparison as we also sell them Alpinestars and Dianese suits if purchased even in the UK need to be sent back to Italy for inspection after every detonation which can take 4-8 weeks minimum whereas RST try to turn around the suit in 1-2 weeks. if a suit has had 3 crashes causing deployment of the airbag repairs will most likely be needed or the suit might be beyond use the turnaround time will depend on the repairs needed. if the suit is beyond repair they will tell you sooner than that.
@@thevisorshopcrossanmotorcy9996 Thank you for that great info. I really like RST, I think they have good looking, good quality gear for the price you pay. It will be the brand I use mainly for the rest of my life for sure. I was just a little bit confused with the price being so low compared to other brands for a suit with airbag. But I understand now that It is because of RST vision and the fact that you can not use this airbag system with other suits. When the suit is at the end of it's life, so is the airbag system. But for the price you pay that is fine by me. Thanks again!
