I have a pair of these gloves and I'm very happy with my purchase. I've read other people's reviews on the gloves and some argue that they are not only a better value than other full gauntlets but they are just a better glove than some of the more expensive ones.
25 years of riding, my absolute favorite gloves! Work amazing with my S1 1Pc Suit or Sabre Jacket. I've had all the long gloves except Icon, and these blow them all away for 1/2 the money.
Im late picking these up, but they just arrived today and they are better than I thought they would be. I got them because of this video and ordered them from STG as well. Shipping was very prompt and I couldnt be more impressed. All around a great decision. Thanks!
I was just thinking tonight on my ride home about upgrading gloves, i'm riding with the alpinestar SMX-2's currently. Own a pair of RST jeans, they are very well made.
This is a great pair of gloves that sell at an amazing price. Sometimes I think the price scares people off because they don't believe they will be that good when they sell for just over $100. - Vaj
Bought 2 pairs of these gloves as you suggested one in black the other in white size XXL Very comfortable and inspires a great sense of security. Loves these gloves!
@@sportbiketrackgear cheers Van, actually didn’t realise they were a race glove, bought them based on the safety of them, no harm they are used on the track primarily
We have hundreds in stock now, selling fast. Hard to get let alone keep anything in stock these days. Thanks for the order and enjoy your gloves. - Van
the gloves are definitely protective but everywhere I've seen, including their website, only lists the gloves as CE level 1-KP probably worth correcting in your site listing and the description here. The mixup probably came from them claiming level 2 knuckle protection which is likely true but the glove didn't pass full level 2, likely due to failing the CE level 2 seam burst test, the most common way otherwise safe gloves fail.
Just bought them got on offer for €90. They look great but only colour black was available for that price. RST is best for value. Cheap . Got full suit with gloves and boots for under 500 which is great. Going to treat me well for good few years untill I might upgrade my suit
In regards to the size chart on your website, is the palm measurement done across the knuckles or across the palm near where the thumb inserts? I see that some glove brands want measurements across the knuckle, others want it below the knuckles and across the palm so I wasn't sure.
Evening Would you recommend these Rst Tractech evo 4 gloves or spend a bit more and go for the alpinestars gp pro r3 gloves? Only use for the odd trackday and road riding. Best review videos on RU-vid, top job 🤟🏻🤟🏻 Cheers
My Son Max and I both ride/race in the RST TracTech EVO Gloves. I would never put my boy in anything I did not believe was top shelf. These are kick ass gloves. - Van
These are a non-insulated, full gauntlet race glove that can be used on the street or the race track. RST does offer a waterproof version similar to this glove that has some insulation. Here is a link to them on our site: RST S-1 CE Waterproof Gloves www.sportbiketrackgear.com/rst-s-1-ce-waterproof-gloves/
Have you seen any issues with these being used for daily riding? I’m somewhat concerned about the durability of the kangaroo palm long term, but I know not all gloves are the same.
We do not have any plans to bring that in at this time. Women's gear does not sell very well which makes it hard to justify investing in the inventory. - Van
Are these more American or Euro fit? I fall somewhere between a medium and large depending on the gloves I buy (my A-star GP pro pro r2 are large, but my smx2 are medium). I love when gloves fit great but struggle with Dainese and their long fingers and tight palms and have to order up a size. Looking forward to picking up a pair of these.
I'm interested in these gloves. Are they easy to get on and off? My alpinestars I have difficulty when the weather is hot. I rented dainese gloves this weekend and it was a world of difference.
Hi Van! How is the fit of this gloves? I have "skinny" hands and usually i can find the right fit only with Alpinestars gloves size M. Other brands usually have larger fingers and if they are ok in lenght, the fingers are too "loose". Are these RST similar to Alpinestars or they have more an "american fit"? In this case, do you have any suggestion for a brand that fits ok on skinny hands? Thanks
Warning, the gloves as such are not CE certified 2. RST doesn’t directly claim that the RST Tractech Evo 4 gloves are CE-certified as Level 2-KP, but, rather, that the knuckle armor is CE Level 2; this is mentioned in vague language, which can easily lead to consumers to believe that the RST Tractech Evo 4 gloves are CE Level 2-KP certified when they’re not. The gloves are CE 1 only.
These gloves are bar none the best value in a road race glove we offer today. You can compare their performance and protection to gloves that sell for more than twice the price. You may ask how we know this to be the truth? The answer is because we have been using them ourselves for several seasons. This would include long term use without crashing and crashing while racing. Warning: Don't get lost in the useless details. - Van
@@sportbiketrackgear I'm not saying they are bad, I have them myself and they fit great :) just wanted to point out that for some the manufacturer's description may be misleading and they might mistakenly believe that the gloves are CE 2.
Made with both full-grain cowhide and kangaroo leather, the glove features a CE Level 2 Carbon Knuckle Protector for impact protection. This is from the RST direct site. - Van
Hey, do you think these are overkill for street use? Would they still be a good buy if budget permits or am i better off going with less protection for cheaper with more ventilation etc? Thanks
I feel like most of the Cortech gloves run pretty true to size. If you still need help please reach out to the team on orders@sportbiketrackgear.com or call 888.784.4327. They will get you sorted out. - Van
These are made in Pakistan. RST has employees on staff at the factories they use. Over the years we have seen Pakistan emerge as one of the best places to produce motorcycle gear. - Van
