2000 AD No actually, the majority of complaints was that it just sucked. So they didn't do anything "special", big fucking deal. It IS a good podcast. And if everyone expected so much more, go bitch at the people that hyped it up so much. These guys took time out of their BUSY day to record a podcast! So many people had been complaining about the lack of Gavin and Burnie, well here they are and apparently it's still not good enough. SMH.

mollysnollybollyke It was good, I liked it, a lot. I'm saying that since people at RT hyped it up so much, it was a big let down to get a 55 minute podcast with a grey background. And if they're so busy, how did they have time to make a podcast? They have TIME. It's they're JOB.

2000 AD They did have TIME but they couldn't stay LONG because they had another JOB which was to make a MOVIE. Unlike the podcast, they had = people and staff OUTSIDE THE COMPANY on site, setting up and preparing to shoot Lazer Team. It would be UNPROFESSIONAL and DISCOURTEOUS to the people hired to work on the movie if they delayed shooting any longer than they had to. According to Burnie's tweet, they stayed as late as SEVEN IN THE MORNING. They could have just made another podcast with Brandon, Blaine, Barbara, and Chris at the studio like they had been doing for the past couple of months (Gus was out of town at the time, so he wouldn't have been on regardless). But they DIDN'T. They wanted to do something DIFFERENT for #300, so they went with an off-site podcast featuring people that haven't been on in a while (namely BURNIE and GAVIN). The frustrating thing is that next week is an hour and a half podcast with Gus, Brandon, Barbara, and Chris and I know that people will be back to bitching about who's on it. Are you positive that they hyped it up for themselves? Because people said the same thing about Ryan's gnome picture, when that wasn't the case at all.

There's just so many new shows, and now new people. It doesn't feel like they take time to plan things out. They're just throwing content at the viewers and hoping for the best.

Jordan Wright They're expanding. You may not like the content because it stars mostly new cast members, while the others are off doing the movie, which I understand how you wouldn't like that. It takes time to adjust to new people from such a well known company.

It's because of the lighting. All the lights are on the cast so the background looks weird.

At 2:44 when they do the party popper thing. Some of the confetti lands on the concrete floor in the background so proof that it's not a green screen

What do you feel they should have done? Thrown a huge party? It's a podcast, I don't really see how they could have made it more "eventful". I personally appreciate the fact that they took the time out of their busy schedule to film this.

florisgrif Mmm well I mean I don't imply them having like an entire Circus in their behalf or something. Something they've done in previous podcasts like a pancake party, pizza party, something to that extent.

Except going by their track record (100th and 200th podcast), they didn't really do anything special. Episode 100 was the first video podcast, but was only about 38 minutes long. I think the most "special" thing in the 200th one was that Dan Gruchy was in town at the time. Heck, for the 10th-year anniversary of Rooster Teeth, the podcast they had was on location for their Immersion shoot. Pretty much what they did with this one (on location for Lazer Team shoot). Their events aren't necessarily tied to episode numbers, but to when they're recorded. For example, the pancake party was because the podcast was on the week of Shrove Tuesday/ Mardi Gras/ Pancake Day. They had a clown on the podcast because it was the week of Jack's wedding and they jokingly made it into his bachelor's party.
