5:20 I feel bad for Gavin when they laughed at him, because the truth is that the vast majority of animals do NOT know what they look like, and they do NOT know what kind of animal they are. If they see a mirror image of themselves, they will think it's another animal entirely, despite its identical movements. Also, many animals do not recognize a dead one of their own; for example, a deer will not know that a dead deer was in fact an alive deer at some point, but it might know that there's danger nearby if it senses fear hormones left over in the corpse (assuming the dead one was scared before death).
Dont hit anyone unless its self defense. Theres no reason to hit anybody unless they are a direct threat to you or somebody else. This includes men, women, children, anybody. Do. Not. Hit. Unless they're into that, in which case have a safeword ;)

I know exactly the answer to the bird thing-- Birds don't exactly understand that a mirror is just that, so they think it's another bird and 'befriend' the other bird. That bird was visiting it's 'friend.'

Let me tell you about squirrels. They can certainly throw things. My college was infested with squirrels, and everyone eventually learned that you could never sit under the trees, because you'd have things thrown at you by the squirrels.
"What is deserving of getting punched in the face in this day and age?" Self defense, if someone is trying to hurt you. Protecting someone from harm. If someone is trying to steal from you, you have every right to defend your property, its yours. Basically, if you are protecting yourself or someone else, you have the right to punch, slap, kick, or what ever with that person. If the person doesn't want that to happen, they shouldn't threaten you, that's just the reality of the situation. I have seen stories where someone gets hurt because they are doing something stupid and they are like "Why did the person need to do this?", no, the question is, why did you threaten them? Why did you do the stupid thing that resulted in the incident happening? Seen a video where some dumb girl was dancing on a kids desk, he pushed her leg and she fell, you can blame the kid all you want but why is the girl dancing on the fucking desk, especially right in the dudes face? Seen an article talking about how some dude was shot when he tried robbing this woman and his family questions why she had to shoot him, no, why is he trying to steal from her? If you don't want to get attacked or shot at, fucking don't steal from people you asshole, don't jump on people's desks and dance in their fucking face, don't get in their face, slap them, grab them, shove them or anything. If you expect to just treat people like shit and get no retaliation, you are in for a rude awakening.
How about this, no one should be hitting anyone?? And if you have to, it's because it's in self defense, not because they are or are not a woman. To quote batman, "The hammer of justice is unisex". It's not about what gender you are, it's just having some basic decency. Also, we used to have a fox cub in our garden who would visit it's 'friend' in the patio door reflection and try and play with it :)

At least they didn't say that hitting a woman is illegal, because that's not true, you'll be charged for assault, and trialed the same as if you hit a guy. People stating that it's more wrong to hit a woman than a guy is pretty damn sexist.
A woman's period contains blood and the endometrium. On most animals, the 'period' is called 'Estrous Cycle', and contains only blood, and not the endometrium (which is absorbed back into the body).

I don't think you are the only person who tweeted it at him. I did so too and got hype when he used it on the segment, but then realized that there were probably quite a few people who tweeted it to him too.
No, a period is what happens at the end of a menstrual cycle, after the egg has not been fertilised and has to be discarded. (Prep blood walls melt away, all that gross stuff.) In heat refers to the ovulation, aka, the middle of the menstrual cycle, when the female is ready to conceive. They're really quite different things.

Usually they do spot it however, and so edit it out. That blank portion of the vid was one of those infamous moments, thus sparing you the Britbongy dong. The whole animals recognizing animals is actually quite scientific. It's a precursor for identifying near-himan intelligence in other species. Dolphins, for example.
