Some people might say that there is no significant difference between all these cards but they are missing few points, older gen cards spinning their fans around 1600 rpm while drawing 150 to 170w with 60 to 70 celcius while 4060 is sitting at 1000 rpm with 40 to 50 celcius with 100 to 120w power draw. So I feel like I did a good purchase on my 4060.
i get this however price difference is a BIG key point these cards locally here cost 100-160% more expensive over a RTX 2060/super which really makes the power draw a mute point that is a giant difference and also power draw is not a key point if most people upgrade every 2-3 years.
@@EBMproductions1 you really have to see to life buddy, EVERYTHING has become more expensive, rent is 30% higher, energy even more, not to mention food. Ofc electronics will bring price adjustments compared to previous generations. Taxes have grown so hard for companies the population will also pay it. If you had a product in 2017 you would not be able to keep its price until today with all the research and development costs. It is incredible that people dont realize that.
@@DiegoWorlitz No...minning, price hikes, shortages, scalpers, semi conductor supply issues, false shortages to increase pricing, a few wars AND inflation happened to push graphics card prices up i hate how many people over look these things of which are mostly artificial reasons for current tech pricing. I have my used RX 6700 Xt im good for a while as i won't shill out double the price for new tech thats not really worth their price right now.
I remember very well many reviewers have been saying that RTX 2060 Super was a RTX 3060 equivalent and many people bought remaining 2060 Super on stores for the same price. Now, few years later, we see that 2060 S is solid behind. In the case of 4060 I am more skeptical since on one hand 3060 has got 12 GB VRAM and higher bandwidth, on the other hand 4060 has that L2 cache 24 Mb (against 3 Mb of 3060). I think 12GB 3060 was a big Nvidia mistake: Cheap and strong.
Tbh i dont call 10 frames a massive difference they still similar what saves the 2060 super really is its bandwith and bus if it had 192 bus like 60 cards usualy do then it probably wouldnt hold that well
@Rafael-dm9mm in new games like starfield and avatar 4060 only slightly slower than 3060ti.newer games will be more optimized for newer hardware same case happened with 3060 and 2060 super they both were almost similar in performance at launch but now 3060 is faster than 2060 super in new games.
@@jevgenijmr5528but starfields graphics don’t look REALISTIC either, I think the game with most life like graphics is Forza horizon 5, but starfields graphics just look dull and kinda like call of duty world at war from 2011, textures are pathetic, ultra settings look like u are trying to run rdr2 with low on 720p Just outright an ugly game to say the least
@@JoseLuis-kk5jtyes but newer gpus and series are better and more efficient even if they have the same performance, the newer series always better bc they have better drivers, and the drivers seem to play a big role in newer games
@@CootBandiWhat do you mean 1000 series cards are good but outdates a bit bc the new series have better drivers more efficient and better ram i noticed even though the 1080 is slightly better than the 2060s,the 2060s get much more fps in a lot of games now imagine with teh newer series
@@mr.popescu3093 frame genertion increace input lag and the image qualty is lower than native and didnt work with all games and if you gonna compare a gpu with another you should count on native fps alose amd had a frame generation and will be supportive in many new games
Imagine what the 40 series cards could do with higher memory bandwidth and more of it. Nvidia simply not challenged in the marketplace so we get hamstrung cards at inflated prices.
Guys i need help i want to buy pc that can handle 3d editing softwares and video photo editing apps like blender , after effects , photoshop so here is what i want to buy : CPU: CORE i5-12400F RAM:DDR4 32GB (2×16) SSD: M2 NVME 1TB TEAM GPU: RTX 3060 12GB PSU: AZZA 650W 80+ overall it costs 670$ is it worth to buy it?
Ive got the same set, exept video - 2060s. Working in PS, LR, SNS and others. I would say its pretty good set sufficient for all my needs demands (working with hdr panoramas wich weights 800mb), including games. But still i would reccomend u to take 13400f for application, that use multi-threading
12400 отличный проц этот процессор спокойной раскроет даже 4070 не выше если не планируешь брать карту выше 4070 то тогда оставь этот процессор 13400 избыточен для 3060
Nice Bro ❤ If You Just Made Those Combination Video For Fun And Just Uploades For RU-vid Can You Test Ryzen 5 7600X With Rtx 4060Ti With Gigabyte B650M K LG 1718 With Ddr4 4800Mhz
ahhaha the 4000 series are absolute trash. im nevr gonna buy nvidia again unless their next gen has at least 50 percent increase in framerate. anything lower than that is not worth it, especially when you realise their last 3 gens, in terms of frame increase, is garbage. gotta pay 500 bucks for 30 frames. you kidding me bro?
You haven’t gotta buy. That’s the price take it or leave it 🤣 30fps is quite a bit then if you use dlss you will see even better framerates albeit using regen is upscaled resolution, but phenomenal.
@@colinbrydon7659 funny, when i type it into google's searchbar there are tons of forums with this problem, but hey, let's believe 1 random. at any rate, enjoy being scammed. the dlss might give more frames but you ar still paying waaaaaaaaaay too much for the hardware.
@@colinbrydon7659 Lmao these fools follow haven't used the card themselves and just follow the ongoing on the internet, i am rocking with my rtx4060, ultra preset raytracing ultra with dlss3+fg and getting around 80-100fps, not even a single stuttering or delay, too many haters these days how just follow the trend
It is 2060 Super not 2060. 4060 is bad. Therefore, people don't buy 4060/Ti and skipped this generation. Even, RTX 2060 served good for 4 years. 3060 served for 2 years and it will can be up to 4 years with 12gb. Sorry but 4060 is not good buy for even $250. It is 107 chip which is used in 50 series cards (Good buy for $199). Don't forget newer GPUs come with 2 years, so next year 5060 will be kicking ass of 4060, comes with 12 GB GDDR7 which has double bandwith of GDDR6, so we could buy 5060 for $349 which has DLSS 4 maybe 4060 does not support it. Also, RTX 5070 will be king at the point of $550-600 with 16 GB VRAM. Nvidia is considering future chip price, so they will make 60 series card in 107 chips. Die sizes are reducing and transistor count is increasing but making research and product is increasing cost. Thus, RTX 5060 will be cheap and it will be same as 4070 performance. 5060 Ti would be better buy for $399 but it would have 12GB VRAM with 3090 performance. So, 2060 = 1060+%62, 3060 = 2060+%27, 4060 = 3060+%14. AND PROBABLY 5060 = 4060+%50 for $349-359. Even, RTX 5050 8GB = 4060 Ti for $249. Even, you people probably would buy unreleased 4050 6GB for $250. You are becoming fanboys year by year.
no.. yoy wrong 2060(not super) to 3060 small jump but 3060 to 4060 biger jump 4060 not bad good card and sipport DLSS FGand DLSS FG on = 3080 same speed so 3060 trash 4060 more good
