Not really. That completely depends on the game. And anyway an overclocked 2060 super is equal to an overclocked 5700xt on average and a 2070 super oc beats it
AMD = Okay/shit release but gets better with future driver updates NVidia = Better post-release results but does not get as improved with future driver updates Has been the case since rx480 released. I'm glad I went for the 5700xt
Got my Nitro plus with separate ARGB fans to replace the stock ones. I will be overclocking the game clock by 100-150mhz and memory around 200-300mhz. It'll be slightly better than the Super, maybe Ti territory. Cost £420 + £32 for the extra ARGB fans.
Very strange results for the RX 5700 XT in RDR 2 in DX 12 .... around 20 FPS behind. What resolution did you test? Maybe 1440p on the RX 5700 XT and 1080p on the RTX 2070 Super? Must be a mistake? But overall a real kill to the RTX 2070 Super in nearly all tests. Great result for the RX 5700 XT.
your delusional. each card wins, its half and half. there are many more games thats not mention here that the rtx 2070 super smokes the rx 5700 xt in... and thats excluding the games that supports dlss 2.0 that clearly wins by 20-30 fps.
@@fredrickwilkerson188 Well, that is not true. The settings aren't correct for the RX 5700 XT or for the RTX 2070 Super, cause one card was tested with a higher resolution in RDR 2. But as you can clearly see, the RX 5700 XT outperforms in nearly all positions the RTX 2070 Super and for its price it is a very strong card.
@@mhb2511 yes it is true, you can't change facts just because you disagree. there are tons of videos that have the rtx 2070 super beating the rx 5700 xt by 5 - 8% more performance. Is that worth the extra $100-$150 maybe not but its clearly the better video card with more features.

I only say it must be a fact that the resolution in RDR 2 on both cards aren't indentical cause there has never been such a big margin between both cards in all resolutions in this game. So the RTX 2070 Super was surely tested in 1080p wheras the RX 5700 XT was tested in 1440p, although both cards should have been tested in 1440p. Ofc a clear win for the RTX 2070 Super .... but tested with the wrong resolution. Well, atm the RX 5700 XT became pretty strong, can't say that the margin in averall is still 8 %, probably now even less.
@@mhb2511 well of course.. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WH3QE9LkcRk.html if you look closely at the v-ram usage on the rx 5700 xt side its using 7,949 mb vs rtx 2070 super 3,766 mb, that can indicate there is large textures being stored into virtual pool memory. so yes i can agree with you on that as it is very possible the rx 5700 xt is being rendered at 1440p. i guess MYPC was un aware of the settings..
So, does the 5700xt keeps crashing? I'm still undecided whether 5700 XT or 2060s, what yall guys recommend to me? Update: im loving the 5700xt, i have no crashes yet.
@@rdmog drivers are essential so no that's not what I meant, AMD are a bit strange with Thier settings. For example my 5700xt oc had really bad fan curve (bad cooling), so I had to configure the gfx fans my self and lower the oc on it as well. Because 106c degrees on full fan speed is not my cup of tea, 10fps + don't matter to me.
2070 super or a 2060 super. 5700xt is great, but its hit or miss. You probably would end up dealing with issues like I am dealing with. I always go Nvidia, but I decided on a 5700xt this time, and I regret it. I should have just went with the 2070 super.
It could be because I have not played 1 pancake game since I got my 5700xt a few weeks ago, only been playing VR...but I've been having issues and this latest drivers update messed up my system. I kept getting black screen failures..... I rolled back to the 2/28/20 drivers, which work great for me. Im never getting an AMD card again. I should have stuck with Nvidia like I have been for the past 10+ years.
