Please play this game whenever you are free. One of the best stories. Follow the yellow bird, play flute to change weather, challenge enemies for standoff, I love it.
even though the story of this game is very good the graphic is honestly kind of lackluster? i remember watching people play this game back in 2020 and think that the game look amazing, does it look worse on PC or the graphic quality of AAA games has improve tremendously since this game came out that it make this game look pale in comparision?
@@thefurmidablecatlucky3I haven’t heard a single person say GOT looks lackluster idk what kind of games u play to say this game looks lackluster but eh man good for u dawg
@@perkzy5146 "GOT looks lackluster" i think you are missing something here, first of when did you have the time to hear that GOT looks lackluster on pc considering it released today and the second part is he sayed on pc the game looks kind of lame i didnt played it yet on pc but today i already saw few people saying that they are disapointed about games visuals on max
Brooo I downloaded it on my Rx 3060 Acer laptop and I'm getting 103 fps on average with everything on high and frame Gen on.... Exceeded expectations 🤦🏽🤧@@zWORMzGaming
My baseline is always the 3060. If the 3060 can do well, then my 2080 can do even better on the same settings. Glad to see sony learning their lesson from the HZD and last of us ports
@@X_irtz the recent vram hysteria is just funny af. Major outlets started screaming "8GB WILL RESULT TO ALL GAMES BEING UNPLAYABLE" and people ran with it without actually trying first lol. Of course, more vram is good but saying or implying anything below 12gb vram cards are now useless is just stupid, considering majority of people still play at 1080P and no one maxes out settings anyway (unless you have a higher end card of course)
The RTX 3060 12Gb is such a great little card, really underrated, and DLSS is such good upscaling technology. I picked one up pre-owned for £200 (UK) from eBay after downsizing from an RTX 4070 Super (which I sold for pretty much what I paid for it) and I don’t feel it’s that much of a downgrade, though I avoid raytracing and compromise on some settings in games - but finding the sweet spot is often part of the fun, innit 😉 I’d like to see more people trying 3200x1800 resolution instead of 4K with such GPUs though. It’s not far off 4K visually but tends to be much more performant.
Another game that once again proves that you CAN make games look insanely good while also running well at the same time if your an actual competent developer. Glad to see such good optimization
@@Psytonix Nope, that’s incorrect. Yes this came out on ps4 but the version pc got was the enhanced ps5 version of the game with much higher quality assets and more complex graphical fidelity. Same happened with horizon forbidden west, there’s a ps4 and ps5 version of that game and the pc port is the native ps5 version.
@@foxskyful The information I stated isn’t coming from me, but rather digital foundry themselves. Are you seriously suggesting that THE experts in graphic and pc technology don’t know what they’re talking about?? Boy you’re a special kind of stupid lmfao.😂
@@puffyips i already played it on my rx 6700xt, very high preset and everything maxed out(when you put very high preset it doesnt actually max out settings) 70-80 fps 1080p, you can expect 60fps at 1440p , this game is nicely optimized for a playstation port
Such a beautiful game, not just visually, but the soundscapes, the story, the world itself, so many wonderful things, truly shows that a videogame is absolutely art. Do yourself a Favour and play it in your downtime, its worth it.
@@foxskyful on paper your argument is relevant but this port was almost identical in visuals to the original check Nick's comparison video and it runs like cr@p lets be grateful that we have a port which is running much better than the previous sony ports
Still can't believe the fact I'm gonna play this game today... This was the game that made me build my own pc and 4 years later I can play this and not only that the first benchmark video you posted is of 3060's..which I currently have....feels like a dream come true moment
Nice. Another gem from Sony and a masterclass from Nixxes on how to release PC games in a good state at launch. Once I complete Horizon Forbidden West, I may jump into this. The only thing as you mention is that Horizon Forbidden West has insane graphics so I'm going to have to reset my expectations moving forward, though this still looks good.
I have seen that many players report that official FSR3 has some kinda crashing issue in Ghost of Tsushima for now maybe it will be fixed with further driver updates or game patches I dunno but I got another solid alternative for RTX 20 & 30 series cards. It's called The DLSS3 FG Mod by Nukem9 which runs the real DLSS FG by using the FSR3 pipeline instruction sets and activating the optical flow accelerators only on RTX 20 & 30 series GPUs.. 40 series don't need that because they can do it natively due to the fact that they have faster optical flow accelerators to do it compared to RTX 20 & 30 series cards.. and this mod is quite stable and works really smooth in many DLSS3 supported games including Ghost of Tsushima on RTX 3060 and other RTX 20 & 30 series cards as well.. I can now get avg 130-150 FPS in Ghost of Tsushima with RTX 3060 12GB on 1080p Very High Textures + High settings + 16x Anisotropic Filtering + HBAO+ Ambient Occlusion + DLSS Quality + NVIDIA DLSS FG (with the mod applied).. No crashing or whatsoever, also feels silky as buttery smooth.. another perfect side of this mod is that it boosts the FPS up to avg 40 to 50 FPS as it supposed to be like native DLSS3, in this Kryzzp's video official FSR3 FG only boosts 10-15 FPS more which is actually ridicilous.. In order to get the optimal results from FG no matter if you run it via natively or with the mods, base FPS should be at least 55-60 FPS or more to feel the smoothness badewei..
Hi man, I just wanted to say I absolutely love your videos. You may be my favorite RU-vidr I’ve ever watched. I have the gt 1030 and you make great videos on it. I’ve watched your videos to figure out which pc I should get next and you have helped me find the benchmarks for it. Thanks and keep up the good work!
game is super well optimized, nixxes did it again, i have rx 6800 non xt , and running this game on maxed settings with fsr 3.0 on dynamic, game runs even above 1440p upscaling closer from 2000p i think and still hit very stable 60fps, what a joy to have well optimized game these days. and its not super heavy on my old r5 3600 cpu too like it was on horizon forbiden west :) 16gb vram also great stuff, in few zones ive seen above 13gb vram usage so i feel so safe
So excited to play this game! Just got it for "free" ;] and seeing that the RTX 3060 can run it, I'm sure my 2060 can too! despite having to use lower settings for vram, the 3060 isn't all that much faster
Another great Benchmark Kryzzp... Looking forward to your 4080 comparison. FG is great on a 40 series card, I always enable it when it's available... just remember to force v-sync on in the Nvidia control panel for the smoothest experience- Obrigado Irmao
Incredibly well optimized and super gorgeous game. Good job on optimizing it, devs! Hope Sony will get a grip of themselves and allow people to buy this game. Also, thanks for detailed tests, friend! You and SantiagoSantiago deserve more views, very helpful channels
hi kryzzp idk why but when i watch your videos on my phone it looks fine but when (mostly) i watch it on my laptop it looks really sluggish Is something wrong with my laptop??? i know yt compresses the video but i don't feel the compression on other yt videos.
that's how you optimize a game. with my gtx 1650 I thought I won't be able to play this game with good graphics, but to my surprise I can play this game with very good graphics. hats of to the developers .
9:08 Based. Thanks for your support! I'm from Kazakhstan, where Sony officially sell their consoles, but didn't make us a psn region. A lot of friends wanted to buy Tsushima, but had to pirate it because of Sony's useless decision.
I have a ryzen 5 3600 and a 6600xt and the game runs smoothly 80+ fsp avg ( 84 according to amd software ) High 1080p and the driver 24.4.1 Now i saw AMD launched a new version with support for Ghost of Tsushima and maybe will improve the fps a bit more.
Finally the first ever optimized triple A title on PC in a decade. Good to know that one of my favorite game is gonna run extremely well on my 6700xt in max settings. Especially in a game as beautiful as this one.
@@speedforce8970 Yeah I don't know what this dude is on about. Resident Evil 4 Remake, DMC5, Doom Eternal, Sekiro. Off the top of my head. Some of the best optimized games of the last five years.
@@aninfinitemindofmusicandreams shoulda mentioned this too but I swear most modern PC gamers weren't here in the 2000s because pc ports in the 2000s were so much worse than today. Not only were they badly optimized but they often looked worse than their console counterparts too even though you may have better hardware than the console. People blinded by nostalgia think 2000s were the golden age for Pc gaming when that was the complete opposite.
Game's lacking when it comes to graphics but the lightning is really beautiful and the story is amazing, i played it on PS5 and the graphics aren't better either although there's something up with the game's resolution, i was watching the video on my phone on a 6.8inch screen and 1080p/1440p didn't look very good but as soon as you switched to 4k it was a lot better and very noticeable
Try to complete this beauty story.. it's one of the best nartive story out there as I've heard and the graphics looks amazing as it should like the old japana maybe EDO period.. pls do more testing with high ends and low ends too like 1030 750ti rx550 too to see how they optimize the title.. nixxes is doing amazing job as always if I remember correctly Sony acquired nixxes for pc ports recently.. and share us how does this beauty feel to you like the story the music graphics as the story goes on.. remeber to follow the bird and keep changing the wind by flute i think..
You can use DLAA + dynamic resolution. If your fps is already close to 60fps then is better to use dynamic resolution at min 60fps than dropping resolution
This is the first time this engine is officially on PC but I have no doubt Modders might drop a texture pack eventually. Dope game but they didn't really upgrade it from the PS4 version so it has some legacy stuff, still better than not brining it to PC
Another really well optimized accomplished pc port from Nixxes well done u guys are teaching these other people who do pc ports for other games to shame and they should learn from Nixxes on how to optimize a game well on pc
Could you also benchmark niche laptop cards like gtx 1650ti and 6600 laptop version? I think it would be cool to see the difference between the laptop and desktop versions. Also a big fan of everything you do. Good luck with everything
Hi Kryzzp! I wish you tried other AA settings in one of your benchmarks for us to see which one is more/less intensive and which on looks better! Thank you!
Man, this game got delisted on my country and I can't buy it, idk why Sony would do this. They're literally losing out on money for no reason XD But it does look like it runs well, so that's good
PSN account is required for multiplayers and PSN is restricted a lot of country, you can try vpn to buy a game but i not recommend that because you may get ban by Sony and since your country is not supported so they will not help you.
@@igm1571 Imma jus not get the game, I don't plan to support them given what they've done with the delistings. Once that's fixed, maybe I'll consider buying it but they've got to gain back my trust
You need to remember it’s not bad textures or looking soft it’s sucker punches art style it’s more graphic like and less realistic it was intended to have a dreamy soft look to the game and not super high definition detail
