The noise is screen space reflections and shadows , once you turn them off the noise is gone

That noise could be caused by Ambient Occlusion. Subnautica's textures behaved the same way. I tried putting off everything until I found the issue. It was the way ultra Ambient occlusion worked on textures. I toned it down to medium and problem solved.

that visual noise is actually caused by screen space shadows and screen space reflections, turning off these two settings should get rid of the noise

@@j00r41 Tried that... still didn't go away. In the end. The high ambient Occlusion setting simple turned to medium solved the problem. Plus the noise wasn't on any reflective surface to begin with. It was mostly the sand texture that had extreme noise. I literally stated that I tried everything until I found the culprit...I now know why Ambient Occlusion can do this too. Clue...Depth map.

tbh this game seems really well optimized, my friend with an i5-6400? and a GTX 980 Runs this game on Medium at 60 fps, which is honestly really good for a gpu thats 5 generations old

It actually depends on the monitor size a 32 inch 1080p display with dlss would look ugly, but a 24 inch it looks pretty much the same in most games.

no, only in the campaign. But they patched the game and now it's available in MP as well. Still, not worth using because the last thing you want in these games is high input lag

Looking to upgrade from the series x to a 5600x3d,32gb of ram, 2tb nvme and the 4060 for $900, think it’s worth it? Because the game runs well but the controller input latency is night and day on the pc that’s what’s bugging me about the console life.

That’s a fantastic build imo. A decent cpu is needed for consistently high frames in games that are super gpu demanding. If you can get a 7600/7600x build for the same price, I’d personally go with that.

Mr. zWORMz, maybe make a video (or series with various cards) comparing how the "60" series of Nvidia cards played in the popular COD or Battlefield games of their time. "60" series card are always very popular. How did the 960, 1060, 2060, 3060 vs the 4060 in their respective COD or Battlefield games popular at their release. You wouldn't have to benchmark them again, just use the video of the original benchmark video for comparison. A little 'bit of editing. It would tell us which cards were better value vs performance at their release and tell us which games were optimized and looked the best near their release.

nah not like that at all actually if your game is getting 200fps and your monitor is 60 hz it will still look smoother and give you better input delay because there is more frames to process what button you clicked. hope this helped

Your cpu is bottlenecking your gpu. You should get at least 140 fps with 4060ti.

I only play COD / warzone with a AMD 5700xt getting about 90-120FPS (1440p) on average settings. When I compare it to all the new GPU benchmarks for this game it doesn’t seem to be that much better. If you play ultra it’s 100-120 therefore, in my opinion, a good CPU with an older card will give you similar performance at half the price. My son has a 980ti and gets 60-70fps on low settings. With his IPS monitor it still looks great!

FG was introduced later in the MP, not worth using though as it introduces input lag, which is terrible for a fast paced shooter

I just googled an explanation: "Noise, commonly known as static, white noise, static noise, or snow, in analog video and television, is a random dot pixel pattern of static displayed when no transmission signal is obtained by the antenna receiver of television sets and other display devices."

Just type "noisy photo" on Google Image and you will understand. Or try taking a picture with your smartphone in low light condition. It's difficult to explain without showing an image but it's when there is a grainy look, it's not smooth as it should be.

Visual noise means unwanted blinking dots or grain that appearing on the surface. Often perceive as low quality visual. On other hand it's rougher version of film grain where it's main purpose is to reduce the digital look and make it look more filmic.

Guys I need some help, I just got my first gaming PC (4070 12GB with Intel 13th gen 13700KF) and every game I play get some form of stuttering every now and then through gameplay. In RDR2 I can either run it with unlocked fps and makes the stutters slightly leas noticeable or cap the fps but then the drops/stutter gets even more noticeable. I've tried many things. I feels like there's not possible to lock a fps that I can easily manage to hold without getting any stuttering. Is there a trick? Is there no way to eliminate all stuttering?

You are right. The perfect anti aliasing is TXAA but it's waaay heavy on gpu and fps drop consistently
