I bought a 4070 ti super not only because it's the highest performing 4070 variant, but for now, it's the only GPU in the history of Nvidia to have both Ti and Super in it. 🤣🤣💀
Same thing + also because there is 16GB in this power. I wanted to buy a 4070 super, but after watching a video that 12 would not be enough in 3 years, as it was with the 3070. I saved up more and bought a Ti Super Xd
@@ForeverPlaysdude a 12 gb will last you more than 3 years, especially with the ps5 pro being confirmed to have gpu specs similar to a 4070 which has a 12 gb vram.
not buying a dicrete gpu with almost 16gb nowadays (or the cheapest 8GB used card, but recommended to buy at least rx6600 or rtx 3050, used better at $100) is like burning your own money in a furnace to make heat to save on energy... who says we can't ahve 16gb worth of game/workload assets in memory like a game console in 2024?
If you play games with mods that require VRAM over frequency, then definitely a 4070 TI or 4070 TI super. At least in the Skyrim community, the new NUKT Ultima modlist has a minimum requirement of 12 GB of VRAM for 1440p 60 FPS with DLSS. 16 is preferred.
the Ti super has a wider memory bus of 256 Bit plus 16 gb vram when a game pass 12 gb of vram the ti super eats every card on this list a lot more than it already does and also in raytracing even when the games don't pass the 12 gb limit the ti super is much faster than the super and the ti is a very strong card really but i only have 400 in mine sold my old gpu and put some money with that and got my ti super. worth it. besides some one upgrading from a 2080 ti or even a 3080 its a huge bump in performance.
Should I make the upgrade? My PSU is a 650 watt Gold and Nvidia recommends 700 at least. Then again, the 4070 super in the clip was only using on average about 210 watts for games like cyberpunk which is only about 80-or-so more than my RTX 3060.
@swagnchillmuzik it's actually really good. Got the 4070 super oc from gigabyte. Excellent card. Cod gets ne 240-300 fps. Other games ( if I play lower cuase I don't usually play on ultra my fps is high) even some guys that I let stay on ultra I've never had issues or something that's super noticeable unless it cod. Great buy swapping to this
I don't see the point of upgrading my 4070 to a super since it has only 12gb, they put 16gb on ți super, Wich is too expensive. What a load of BS this generation from ngreedia
Meanwhile amd giving you 16gb, so goes to show Nvidia are just f**king greedy. 12gb! its 2024 16gb should be the minimum, AMD was giving 16gb when the 30 series came out with 8gb for 3070 which should have been 12gb way back then. greedy f**ks.
Personally i have an rtx2060super and its enough for 1080p gaming. I think this 4000 series rtx cards are not the best builds unless you build a pc from 0. I will wait for 5070 maybe and after then i swap my monitor too into 1440p. What do u think of this guys?
I would get a 4070 TI Super, but after seeing some benchs, I'm going with the 4070Sl Super and the difference I'll get an i5 14600K, the TI Super isn't worthy at all.
4070 ti being the actual 4070 at that price is too much... even taken into account autoselfinflation and AMD damage control naming 7900 it would be not enough...
@@Ragssssss$900 more but +70% FPS in some games... it was better deal, RTX 4080 in US but in general in Worldwide markets was the worst value/money GPU you could buy... it makes no sense at all to buy it for gaming, only the 16GB were good but for 1300€ who cares,
4070 ti super is decent at 4k, can run most competitive games at 100+ fps on low-medium settings. for story games if u enable dlss on balanced it will get u to about 50-60 frames if u're on high, not ultra. enable frame generation and u'll have 100 fps but they are fake frames, it will feel smoother tho. ultimately 4070 super OR ti are good enough for 2k and for 4k i'd personally go for 4080 super 4090 at this point doesn't matter if u are on any kind of budget, 4080 super can handle 4k extremely good. 4070 ti super is what 4070 ti should have been, but sadly all they want is money.
I was gonna buy a 4070ti on 2023 november black Friday however it was out of stock last price brt 5700. February 2024 the 4070 ti is at brt 4999 and 4070 ti super 6300. Got the super but paid 600 more
I don't know but to me, the 2nd biggest gap between these was between the ti and ti s so the Super and the TI S may be the best buys. Unless, my off the top of my head math is off. Of course, price rules em all.
Alan Wake 2 is a frame rate eater. You were getting about +20 fps difference between the base and top models, but when you got to Alan Wake the difference fell to +10 fps. And I don't think it's an optimization issue, it's only that this game is really pushing the graphics boundaries we know.
@@mihairomulus2488like I said when it comes to raster and ray tracing only the 4090 beats it. 4080super can run cyberpunk rt overdrive 1440p without frame generation. Only card that can beat that is a 4090
@@adlibconstitution16097900xtx beats it in basically everything aside from ray tracing which i don’t even know a single person that uses ray tracing because its bad. Only card beating the xtx is a 4090
i wanted to buy myself a 4070ti super instead of a 4070super, but then i remembered that i play at 1080p xd probably wont see a difference, maybe 130 instead of 120 fps. not worth the extra 250 euros, atleast not for me
So based on starfield, Nvidia set the prices at 1k rupees per FPS, Coz in india the 4070 price is exactly as the fps of Starfield fps at the starting, 1.60k rupees 2.65k 3.73k 4.80k respectively😂
That 4070s is isnanely amazing for the price. Still nlows my mind to see native performance 1440p ultra ray tracing grtting 60fps on a 70 like wtf? Thats insane. This is like the 3090 type of performance. Then you add dlss3 and then frame generation none of the 30 seriees can compete when accounting for everything. I cant wait to see the comments coping lol.
@@Paolini_18 because the next gen cards are probably gonna launch later this year, prices should drop by then and/ or there will be a lot of second hand cards on the market!
@@Paolini_18 yeah thats true, but in my opinion its still a good way to save a couple bucks, especially if you don't want/ need to have the latest gpu all the time to buy the last gen one when the new one drops.. of course not saying that its stupid to do so..
Yeah, is basically cheap than the 4070 for 10/20% more speed. And this guy do not show DLSS and reflex for contract. But the frame rate and image quality are better in this 4070S.
@@wumi7313 Ti only buy used one. The Super Ti is not worth it, 200$ more for ~10% more Performance as the Ti normal version. Wait for the 5000er Generation or rdna4, this will be the better buy.
@@wumi7313 the price seems terrible and it is but it packs 16gb instead of 12... look at avatar, consuming 11gb, do you think 12 gb card is a good idea?? is not, even when it came out is already on the edge in some games.
Alan wake is such a poorly optimized game. Being only able to see 30ft in front of you in the game but still only getting like 45fps? It's doesn't have superior graphics quality either so what gives?
so between the 4070 and the 4070ti super are like 20-30 fps difference. Where I live, you can get a 4070 for 560€ a 4070ti super costs close to 900€ thats crazy.
@@Livebasura69 depends on the game, settings, res and ray tracing or not. 12gb can easily be eaten up, Avatar shows that. rare that you do get it in games but all the ones that don't are still not far from it so you can only wait to see what comes out in the future. i can't see 12gb lasting to much longer myself sad to say. you will see it get taken up a lot more when modding games, especially if theirs parallax texture mods you can use on top of enb and adding more stuff to the game.
4070 super is winner. just a little bit price bump from 4070 and big fps difference compare to the other difference of price and perfomance. but sure, go with whatever budget you got
I recently purchased the 7800x3d and the ASUS TUF 4070, and I couldn't be happier. I'm running all my games at 1080p with max settings, achieving around 70-80 fps. Opting for the 4070 was a smart move for me, as the price per fps ratio was better than the 4060. In terms of performance, the 4070 offers more bang for your buck. I wholeheartedly recommend this card.
Of course they would test on well optimized games. If you want to see games with bad performance we might as well add Star Citizen to the benchmarks and jump out of a window.
4070Ti super with proper overclocking can be in the ballpark of a stock 4080/Super. Definitely the best value current gen 4K card for $799. Not saying it's cheap, but it's the best value we can lay our hands on
I feel 4070 super is better value. Other than than I think some amd cards have 'better fps/$' but then they lack the software suite and I can tell you that software makes a world of difference
The 4080 is 15%-20% faster depending on the game. So anything less than extreme OC (the kind that involves hardware modification and exotic cooling solution) won't make the 4070 Ti Super match the 4080. You're lucky if you can get more than 6% improvement on average with a simple software OC. For the vast majority of users OC is simply not worth it especially if your display supports VRR.
