@@tutorialsandstuff3349 BF1, BF5 and BF2042 are all clearly the same version of Frostbite, aside from minor updates. BF5 has better grass and foliage, but looks grainy and almost cel shaded in areas, then 2042 went back to BF1's style of grass and the clean look, but detail-wise just looks worse, and runs significantly worse
I don’t know if I would called 2042 a mess , it’s has come an long way in both performance and maps reworking . But there’s to much of tanks and helicopters. Also Battlefield is known to be really cpu hungry so you need an really powerful cpu to run the game flawlessly
@@THEcombatXD I agree that they improved performance and stability. However in my opinion, 2042 doesn’t feel like a true battlefield game, it is a mix of call of duty’s movement and shooting together with battlefield’s scale of war.
The reason why is that BF1 was the last 'passion project' of the original DICE team. The devs put there heart and soul into this game, and you can see that from the original release content to the game itself. Afterwards the devs either left DICE or were obligated to do the 'sequel' in the form of BFV, and after the performance of that game DICE as we knew it completely changed, leaving us with the mess of 2042.
Feel better Kryzzp, and of course Happy Holidays to you. This game is amazing looking and runs well on many GPUs. Feels like a lot of the modern releases look the same/worse and have way worse performance. Art Style really goes a long way.

If they really wanted to, they could simply just implement RTGI in this game in an update and a port for the consoles and this game will easily stand toe to toe against even today's most visually impressive games.

and also to explain the gpu not fully being utilized, it is already putting out so many frames, that there might be an internal bottleneck in the card, or maybe it is some limitation of the game engine.

No matter when the game was released, it shouldn't be that hardware dependent, and remember, it is a game, not a crypto mining software or animation renderer, it's a game, you need more single threaded performance, so that is why it just can't utilize all the cores, or maybe it IS using all the cores, just not fully. You should check by using HWinfo.

the trick with the Quadro A2000 is that in order to have 75w the base clock is 562mhz compared to RTX 3050 at 1552mhz. it doesn't boost up too much but in other details like shaders, the a2000 is better. Memory its a bit slower but the A2000 has 12gb. Considering its variant with Low profile i`ll take the Quadr A2000 all day.
It's just a game engine limitation in this case. The CPU isn't operating as well as is theoretically possible because the game wasn't designed with 8 core/16 thread CPUs in mind. This leads to a bottleneck. There really isn't much that can be done.
