This is a perfect example why MV was so incredible for a Cop show. 5 long minutes to let the viewer enjoy everything that Miami is all about: Beach, ocean, heat, hot girls and cool drinks. I'm still loving it. With this picture quality provided I wouldn't mind to watch all episodes of the first two seasons again. Beautiful.

These guys were so cool without even trying. Just this scene being one of many on the hottest show on TV in the 80's. Miami Vice and Magnum, P.I. are the only shows I watched back then. Nothing else then, or even now, comes close to them.

The renovation of Art Deco buildings in South Beach that was taking place at the time. This renovation trend is often said to be partially influenced by "Miami Vice" as, because from the beginning of this show, producers would repair and re-paint damaged buildings so that they would form an acceptable background to the footage they were filming.
