Tom The Dancing Bug has been one of my favorite newspaper comics from the post Far Side and Calvin era. I know it's from earlier, but our newspaper didn't get it until 1997. It was such a brilliant comic and one of the few that made me want to read the funnies while newspapers were dying. It wasn't even in the funnies section! Probably because it was just too good. The Super Fun Pak Comix 9/11 issue kind of went down in my friend circles at the time as being one of the most brilliant bits on 9/11.

And don't get me started on the Brewer's Dozen. It could be ANY random number. They're always drunk and their favorite phrase is "Who's counting?"

Frapp, comes from lait frappé. Frappé is french for "hit'', or in this context; ''whipped''. Frappeur in hitter, or batter. And Montreal is , or was, an amazing baseball city. The Expos were ''nos amours'', or ''or loves''. Losing them to Washington was a tragedy. At least the Montreal bagel is still superior to anything coming out of New-York.

great conversation! more writers! the likes will come. most of your viewers are prly comic fans at the moment. p.s. corpus christi is one of the worst places I have ever been. insanely racist, but mostly non-white. really strange.
