Ryben: You have done a big contract with your band and this week has been revealed that it's a six figure world wide-contract. How do you feel about this? Jonne: Feelings are good. I have been dreaming about it a long time. I remember when we made our CDs and CD-covers ourselves with computer and sold them ourselves. This is fantastic. R: Haven't this gone into your head? I have met you twice and you seem to have your legs on the ground. J: No, only White Russians and Jallu-cola (a finnish drink mix) goes in to my head, hah hah. R: Hahah, is it so? J: Yes, we have been dreaming about this a long time and the work only starts now. There are so many bands and theirs albums out there in the world so we have to figure out how to sell our own CD. So the contract itself doesn't guarantee anything. R: Your brother, who is your manager, has said that you said when you were 12 years old in your grandmother's sauna that you knew that you were going to be a rockstar. How were you so sure about it? J: It was a vision like someone else wants to be a doctor or something. But after the primary school there wasn't this "rockstar degree" so I have done many sacrifices to get where I'm now. R: You make up and you have been called an androgyne and been compared to David Bowie and Ville Valo (Ville Valo is the lead singer of a finnish band HIM). What do you think of when you are called an androgyne? J: Hmm, is it because I make up or want to highlight some characteristics I have or is it when I'm on a stage without a shirt moving my butt? I don't know. Making up has been a part of rock'n roll for a long time and many bands who make up have been my idols. So it comes from there. R: You have been compared to Ville Valo and your band to HIM. Does it make you feel bad ever? J: No, we haven't been compared to them lately but when we started it's natural to been compared to someone who reminds us in a way but who isn't at the end the same. It is so easy to categorise music and bands and it's natural for human beings. HIM is although the most succesfull finnish band. R: Your idol is Dave Lindholm ( a finnish rock veteran). Why? J: Cigarettes, boost and wild women. And love, love is what all is. Lindholm is an artist who has made his own personal music for a long time. A man and his guitar-I recommend. R: What is your very next concrete dream in this month? J: We have a gig tomorrow and all gigs are very exciting to me so being there on the stage is the very next big thing to me. On the stage you are living your dream when looking down to the audience. After the end of this year, the promotion of the album will start in Germany and so doing the gigs there would be cool.
