Good find. I put a rubber vacuum cap on my drain plugs. The vinyl oem plug will harden over time or if you get gas in it.

Hey I’m kinda getting used to going in deep water with my 420, is it common if you have to give it a more gas to keep it going at the same speed vs if you were on land?

mine leaks just as much as urs but i never thought about it being the drain plug. i’ll get a wingnut hose clamp and see what happens

I stuck a freezer plug in mine. It’s kinda like a boat plug but its rubber and has a wing nut on the end and when u tighten it down it expands. It’s the best thing that I’ve found to plug it because if u need to drain your box you still can really easily and I know that it won’t ever leak

Common issue. Just keep your finger on the throttle. Or let it idle for a little while before you go deeper and put the exhaust under

I use 2 stock clamps on mine. Plus if a buddy loses his I have a spare.

It's not the deluxe model. It's a base model rubicon

It’s a foot shift not electric shift they don’t come with Hi low only the es does

No I never found a 100% solution. The best I came up with was putting a stall on the centrifugal clutch and then shimming the throttle body to stay open a little bit but that has rideability issues and makes the takeoff kind of jerky
