Awesome trail for that samurai flex yeah looks fun.i have an 86 it had the same sticker on white but now I'm going to raptor liner key lime it soon.

@@FortuneOffRoad the raptor liner is cheep and you can tint it any color im goin for key lime bright on the trail.i got the all disk kit ,high steer ,header,link shackles ,6.5 trail gear and leather seats from a highlander in it so comfortable im 6'9" tall and I just fit in it love my samurai wheeling

What size tires are on your Sami? I’m thinking about doing a spoa lift and I’m trying to see what all I need to fit 33s? Any info or advice would be appreciated! Thanks also great video!

Im on 33s. SPOA on stock springs fits 31s nicely. You'll want 1.5"-2" springs SPOA to fit 33s, or stock YJ springs would probably be a better option.

I really dont expect to do the same types of off road as in the Rubicon or some of the others but will use it off road and in some rugged territory. The 87 Zuk I purchased has a 4.16 transfer case, early transmission, 4.56 gears, spring over lift and 33 inch tires. It currently has a locker in the front axle and I'm curious if it would be better to have it in the rear?

I think the front locker is more useful in your setup. Adding a rear later would be excellent!

Nice video Kyle, can you share details of your suspension upgrade - leaf springs used front and rear , shock size front n rear . You have a missing link setup in the front ?

@sailorsanjoy thanks! Rears are 2" reverse eye, fronts are stock rears with 2 extra leafs, missing links in the front. I have a Samurai build Playlist on my channel that has videos for all of the mods! 🤙🏻

It was just a regular carseat strapped to the bars of the roll cage using four 1,000 pound straps. It was very secure, but not ideal for getting him in and out.
