I was drooling over just the cover alone!!! Then you added the bracelet and some of my favorite sari silk!! Man, I missed it in your shop again!!! Those pages and envelopes are so pretty. Whoever owns it now is one LUCKY person!!! I'm jealous!! Great job, Heather!

Maria, thank you so so much!! I'm so glad you liked it, I was thinking of you when I made it seeing all of your amazing books you make! I am also amazed at your stitching ability! I did this whole process with a strong adhesive... so one day I am going to experiment with more stitching. ❤❤❤

I just received a 1800 red book that is gorgeous, it has some beautiful debosing on the front. I believe I will not cover the book with anything it’s so beautiful. Red is my favorite color. I love this journal. Thanks for the inspiration Heather ❤️

I love you use of symbolism in your journals/art. I have an envelope that was sent to my grandparents in 1940 and the address is just their name and the city and state. It still has the stamp on the envelope. I scanned the envelope to use in my own journals. I also love putting black and white pictures of my grandmother and my mother. I might share who they are when I sell a journal to someone. Thank you for your inspiration! Beautiful works Heather.

I jus absolutely love your style, Heather!!! I think your one of my new favorites to watch! And I have to agree with you, I'm also a super slow crafter. I'm like the trees in the Lord of the Rings. They're super super slow. I get an idea and I first have to sit on it and think about it, and then gather supplies and when I finally get to working on my project it like a year later. 😜 I love your tip about using things that are special or meaning. I do feel like it really makes a big difference in our art work when it's a piece of our soul. Anyways, thanks for sharing! I'm looking forward to more videos from you!

I answered you already on IG, but will add this here incase anyone else wants to know.. the silk velvet I used was a gift, but very similar to the velvet from Honeysilks .. also etsy has many silk velvet ribbon sellers. The sari silks I buy are from ColorKissedSilkLLC on etsy
