I love this, it gives me 9th Doctor and Rose on Platform One vibes and the dialogue, acting and line delivery feels very natural and fluid

Loving this "sometimes it looks better through your eyes" A very Doctor-ish line, and Ncuti delivers this whole thing so well. He already feels like The Doctor but he feels unique too. Very camp, a little hammed up, but very much like The Doctor. The essence is there, the foundation, the sauce. I'm just waiting to see more of Ncuti's personal seasoning Edit: I was going with food related descriptions and it sounds very wrong come to think of it... Ummm, I should've said I can't wait to see Ncuti's... Ummm, ah screw it I just wanna watch this guy nail the role from start to finish. Millie and Ncuti look fantastic and I can't wait for Saturday ❤❤

I always enjoy these early episodes when the Doctor explains some of the standard lores like the Tardis translation matrix or the unlimited freedom to explore the universe and all of space and time, but with the new actor's own spin on it to make it fresh.

Trust me when I say I gave up on Doctor Who after Capaldi despite really trying. Enjoyed the 3 recent specials, didn’t enjoy the Christmas one. The last 2 episodes, oh boy are we back. That felt like Doctor Who. The acting all round is sublime and Ncuti nails the Doctor, Millie nails the companion (and love that her character arc is seeming interesting) and Jinx smashed Maestro - so sinister! Well done production team, thanks for landing the show safely. Bring on next week! Oh how I have missed enjoying Doctor Who! 🎉

Ruby Sunday reminds me of Clara mystery

I liked they way the Doctor just turned off the translation circuit to show what the language really looked like. Is there any known time where he specifically did that before? We know it didn't work when he was unconcious during his post-regenerative trauma in Christmas Invasion but once he was awake it went back on.

I'll say it right now, this episode wasn't just BRILLIANT, but 1 of the BEST episodes of Doctor Who I've ever SEEN!! 😃 Space Babies literally had EVERYTHING I love about Doctor Who! 😁 It had the mystery, the excitement, the emotions, the action, some wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey stuff and even some COMEDY near the end! 😃 That bit where the Doctor found out that the Bogeyman was actually made of BOGIES had me in absolute STITCHES!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Oh my god, it was hilarious! 🤣 Well, it was a BOGEY Man after all! 😅 Russell T. Davies is an absolute GENIUS! I just KNEW that Doctor Who would get brilliant again when it was announced that he was coming back to write Doctor Who. I bloomin KNEW IT!! 😅 And yeah, even I think Doctor Who's writing has been pretty bad in the last few years and that's why so many people have gone off it. But I'm not like THAT. I know for a fact that when something's at it's absolute worst, it can only get better again. And that's exactly what's happening to Doctor Who. Reminds me of the 2nd episode of Christopher Eccleston being the doctor, where he took Rose on a spaceship similar to this one and he told her about the TARDIS translating everything to English and they talked by a window that gives them a view of space.

I loved every bit of that monologue from Ncuti. Now that the Doctor's free from the biggest burden of their life, they can just roam the stars and just explore, without a care in the world.

Okay, I'm sold on Ncuti. I wasn't entirely sure during the Christmas special, but in this scene he is absolutely the Doctor. This should be good.
