I spoke to the voice actress of summer rose like a week ago at an anime event and she said season 10 is definitely happening because she is already doing lines for it.

@@Savannah_Simpson you don't seem to be familiar with how production works. There are hundreds, and I mean hundreds of projects that begin production before they're even greenlit. Studios have near infinite money and entertainment is one of the only industries rn not in danger of bursting.
I think she came to Qrow when she felt her familial link with Yang disappear. She may have believed Yang was dead. So she and Qrow had a few months to work together and were able to put aside their problems for the most part. Also it could have been that Tai was able to convince Raven to help for the most part.
Honestly, I could see both of these ideas being implemented. We getting a brief flashback to Raven arriving at Tai's house after the scuffle at Haven academy. The two having a heart to heart in a sense, which eventually led her to reaching out to Qrow, along with feeling the connection with Yang having suddenly vanished and she had sensed this. Qrow fills Raven in, and the two have a bit of bonding cry at the seeming lost of both Ruby and Yang. Though just before 'Part C' Raven senses Yang's connection being reestablished once the gang returns to Remnant. Raven being the first one on the scene to greet them, which does shock the group, including Yang. And maybe Raven shows a bit of emotion (maybe welcoming Yang back and possibly having a brief hug), and then she gives a very cut down version of what's happened. Eventually saying that she'll take them to Qrow. Which does lead up to the said mentioned 'Part C'.
I think Volume 10 will eventually get greenlight. Kerry confirmed that CRWBY is still working on Volume 10. Kerry: "Eddy and I and the writers team have been working on stuff for Volume 10 despite not having a greenlight."
I'll be honest, I don't think I had any doubts V10 would be greelit. I mean, RWBY is their biggest franchise alongside RvB, so of course it'll get renewed for the next season.

RAven's semblance whe she keeps her wormholes connected let her knwo if they are alive. WIth Yang gone like that she'd feel an void from yang but the second yang steps on remnant again she'd suddenly feel "Hey This wormhol works again.....Oh god my daughters alive WARP"

What I really want is to have ruby tell Yang about the vision she saw about how summer left with raven for her mission and have both the girls ask raven why what was the plan is she possibly alive why did raven agreed with the plan what happened after both moms went through the portal both ruby and yang deserve it summer was ruby’s mom and yangs when raven left both there dad and a baby Yang summer was yangs super mom despite Yang not being summer’s biological child just like Qrow is ruby’s uncle but not by blood
@@miln25 I think it would be better if ruby asked her alone, without the rest of the team there, it looks like raven and qrow are in good terms, raven looks hapier and if it is directly after volume 9 it could be that raven has gone to rescue them in the middle of the desert because she sensed yang returning, i don't think ruby would make a hard question that she shouldn't even know in that situation, also because we had never seen ruby and raven interact in any way and it would be cool to see how raven reacts to ruby after the message, maybe raven could even serve as a new mother figure to ruby for a time and she could be worried that asking about what rose did could be bad at the moment, also because ruby is the only one who knows about raven and rose at that day.
Technically, through Tai's marriage to Raven, Qrow *is* Ruby's uncle by bloodline. Even with Ruby's qualities coming mostly from her mom, she is Tai's daughter, but idolizes Qrow a lot, especially in weapons style.
If you notice in the storyboard, Willow starts staring at a person’s flask before Qrow lays a hand on her shoulder and says “one step at a time.” That tells me that Willow’s also going straight.
I think the best way to start volume 10 is to do a prologue episode pick up with crow and Winter ❄️ at the end, the volume eight then we get a song montage like we had in volume seven explain what happened between volume eight and nine and the last six minutes of the episode should be the unused animatic epilogue of volume nine!!
This is assuming - everything - in the epilogue stays intact ; And I hope so , cuz my dam Crack ship went from being a crack ship to a possible ship-ship and I'm just blown back by that in a 1000 different ways. ( Alcoholics Anonyms ) Schnees are going to have a major up hill fight to deal with in Volume 10. The Last thing anyone knew about Jacques Schnee was that HIS credentials were used to shut off the heat to Mantle throwing everything into chaos. That HE was the one that allowed Salem's forces an IN into the city. The people know this through characters like Councilwoman Camilla ( Who was there when this all came out ) , the police, prolly the local News Network which would have 100% reported on a major figurehead being arrested and why. Then you had winter who was clinging to Ironwoods side until the bitter end when she finally stood up to him... but by that point it was too late. The SDC also had a very open relationship with the Atlas military. Which would only add to the strain between the Schnees and the people. As far as the people could see - with all things given. The Schnees were the reason why Atlas fell or at least a MAJOR component to all of them losing their homes, their lives, their families. Weiss is returning to a world where her name is now synonymous with evil. With ill intent. It was already viewed in a negative light, but now its just pushed down even further. Juxtaposed to this is Ruby. Ruby who is now seen as this major hero and beloved figure of hope and unity. Winter notes to Weiss as someone who would have known what to do. Or as someone who was good or at least better with people - which is correct. Weiss does make strategies, she does make plans, and shes very good at figuring out complex situations. Shes usually the one who's in the position explaining things to others and generally making it easier for them to understand. Generally taking a kinder approach as well. Such as speaking with Yang about Blake or talking to JBY about Rubys mental state or also getting Jaune to accept himself. Plan wise shes the one who came up with the plot to use Emerald to trick Ironwood - which was the only plan that worked. Winter is also, more than likely, feeling extremely isolated as people are actively afraid of her , as they can be seen backing away with their hands up and looking scared as she approaches - which is prolly only adding to her negative outlook.
Exactly certain people keep saying team rwby are villains when they're not seening the big picture atlas was already worse even before team rwby arrived everything fell apart when iron wood became paranoid.
Believe me or not, i was there when the "Red" trailer first came out. That was when i fell in love with the show, meaning i was 11 years old during the time; This show may have its ups and downs but at the end of the day, its the show i grew up with and i hope volume 10 gets a green light because i refuse to stop watching until i watch it all.

@@miasparkl679 Well, I thought maybe 10 months would have a lot of time for the rest of remnants to come together. I don't know the months or the year where they were gone. But I thought it would not be that much of the year had passed because some of the characters didn't get a lot older. It's just my theory. It may not be true.
In my opinion, the first half of Volume 10 needs to focus on every except RWBYJ. The second half could extend that epilogue and the final scene should be that scene of Raven bringing RWBYJ to Shade.

ooo thats a tough one. I dont think she'll disband the team but they need to continue their conversation from Chapter 7 of V9. Because none of them had a chance to talk to Ruby about how they feel and their perspective. While I would love for Ruby to still be angry at them because her feelings are 100% valid I dont think the show will take that different. Just because at the end of V9 they made it seem like everything was A okay. But I do hope that Ruby can sit down with her team and have a discussion especially with Yang.

I was searching for some text that I intended to send to another RU-vidr whom I discussed the same topic with to copy and save time, Nonetheless, here is what partially I believe will happen in volume 10: I anticipate that once Ruby completes disbanding her team, Ren will gently take hold of her wrist and activate his semblance to enable her to perceive the emotions of others. He will prompt her to observe the people around her both before and after explaining the new aspects of his semblance. Ren will specifically point out Weiss's heartbroken emotions, showing how different they are compared to those of Yang and Blake. He will explain that Weiss was the first to truly comprehend Ruby's pain before she decided to ascend. As Ren concludes his statement, Nora remarks that Ruby should let Weiss to stay by her side to work through their issues. Although the process would be entirely similar to how Blake and Yang did, it will help give closure and make her feel better later. With a sigh of irritation, Ren releases Ruby's wrist and turns to Weiss's direction, "Fine, Weiss, since you were the first to understand my pain, you can stay with me. BUT IT TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH!" Ruby then turns away from Weiss and retreats to another room for personal space silently waiting for Weiss to join her, but before Weiss does so, she reassures Blake and Yang by stating, "I will resolve things with her, and everything will be alright!" Remember how Ren displayed his feelings with Yang and discussed their situation back in Volume 7? Now picture how he might interact with Weiss in this particular scenario!

They were all there to hear Rubys breakdown so I do hope that they all can be there to help heal together. Id love for Weiss and Ruby to have a moment too so I hope they make time for it
To be honest I know it's pretty much almost guaranteed you will get a volume 10 but I felt like the last season should have been more than just 10 episodes we should have gotten more episodes with Neapolitan and wish we got more of the world of The Everafter because it's based on the themes of Alice of window and we should have got more characters that are based on them and maybe they should have added that in the episode or perhaps this will be the prologue for volume 10 and even though it's confirmed in the website I still believe that the general still alive because there's a portal open just before the entire city went under and while Jacques is definitely did I still have hope that we will see him again
Yea thats one thing that bothers me about V9 but its been addressed before. It was supposed to be a shorter volume in comparison but they still had 12 episodes planned out....Yet we only got 10. And seeing how rushed the last two episodes were im curious as to what was going to happen in the 2 cut episodes. I enjoyed the EA and really wanted to see more of it... I really wish they stopped confirming stuff on Twitter like they did with Ironwoods death...keep it in the show and not on social media
@@miln25 From all the data, and the stamp at the bottom of the epilogue, it's pretty clear that Vol 9's epilogue was actually Ch12. We would have gotten basically a lot of what we wanted, a whole episode without the gang probably, and then the gang comes in at the end to cap it off. Ch11 got repurposed into more condensed variations of what we got. The RWBY in the tree scene was all filmed as one continuous scene. (If you cut the cat fight from it, it flows shot for shot.) Ch11 probably would have been longer in the tree for everyone else, explaining more, maybe given some pathos to Jaune for his trauma in the ever after and more about the story book stuff. I think the cats monochrome form was supposed to be introduced in Ch11 too so that fight might have been supposed to be longer and a bit more epic. Which makes sense cause it's really short for the final villain of the arc. That said, they weren't just planning 12 episodes, they had the greenlight for them... And then the budget got cut to 10 episodes after all of the writing was done and they were already in production. It wasn't a choice by them. I'll give CRWBY a lot of flak for bending the lore of this setting over backwards with Glinda's riding crop, but Roosterteeth quite literally sold out to a bigger company and this is one of the many, many, many, many, many downsides to that.
Maybe Raven tried to use her powers to find her Yang her daughter an no portal would open though keep trying an she lost it .But than a month later tried again an a portal opened a loss of a daughter than finding out she alive can do a lot to a person.
@@miln25 I wouldn't be surprised if she lost yangs portal and for what is probably 7 months to a year, was hoping for yangs portal to be usable again and probably lost hope. Only after yangs portal became active again, she immediately activated it and probably went in ASAP. Chances are she jumped yang seconds after the final(what is the current final) scene in volume 11.
Ok. So Raven's joining the main cast? Well, if Volume 10 does indeed get green lit (cuz who WOULDN'T green light a new volume of RWBY with great ideas like these), well all I can say is *"SHUT UP & TAKE MY FUCKING MONEY!!!!"*
One thing he failed to mention is that the post-credits scene of volume 5 HEAVILY implies that Raven used her Semblance to flee to the island of Patch, aka where Taiyang Xiao Long lives. Though we don't see her in V8, it's possible that Tai managed to convince her to help
Who knows, maybe Tai will grab his old Huntsman gear and join Raven & JRWBY, reuniting Team STRQ (minus Summer) & the rest of the main cast all together. Knowing Qrow, he'd be on edge since it's freaking Raven, and the last time he saw her, she teamed up with Cinder & her gang and was trying to kill him back in Volume 5. With Tai there, tension between the Branwen twins would at least ease down.
@@miln25 it’s a really good show. Just a small warning, the frame rate in season 1 is slightly slow so it might feel a bit jarring to watch. Besides that, the characters are great definitely worth a watch
I am hoping to we get new characters and Grimm in RWBY volume 10. An new outfit for Team RWBY and seen Jacque death in volume 8 is so surprising. Raven was in volume 9 in Summer backstory.
This is sick! I need that Vol 10, gotta have more Qrow and Winter; JRWBY need to have a nice, long conversation about what happened in Vol 9; and Team SSSN/CFVY are back! It doesn't quite make sense what happened with Raven since it looked like JRWBY took the portal right to Vacuo at the end of Vol 9, but who knows--I'd still be glad to have Raven back in the show.
With a little bit of rework and some additional music by Sebastian Evans ii(BTW,His work is Underrated so I think hiring him to help out Casey and Martian with the OST would be a great choice),They'll use this as the Opening to V10.
I spent way too long figuring out the people from the memorial (15 seconds) on the right. But I was also too stubborn to look it up. EONR: Emerald, Oscar, Nora, Ren. Team SSSN and CFVY are obvious. Qrow and the Happy Huntresses. MEH was the only one that took me a while but is now obvious in retrospect, the three surviving ace ops (*face palm*). I kept thinking M was for Maria Calavera.
Raven 100% has touched base with Qrow and made amends since volume 5 in some form (probably during volume 9 since that's the time Qrow wasn't busy being on screen) I also think Raven was lying when she told Cinder she wanted Qrow dead. She played every card close to her chest, including the Vernal fakeout, because she knows Salem's forces are scum of the earth and not to be trusted. She planned the whole time to take the Relic of Knowledge and hide away with it
Im guessing that ruby inspired her but however I think yang played a big part in giving raven a change of heart seeing meeting her when she’s older and witnessing how she is as a person all were key factors that gave her this change of heart 😊
Im praying that we get another Raven and Yang scene 😭 Raven just appearing out of no where and being FRIENDLY towards Yang is going to bring out some emotions.
I have a feeling Raven will play a role in V10 because shes the spring maiden. And Cinder knows when they fought. So no matter what Raven does Salem will know and her pawn and her will just hunt her down. So thats why I assume she'll take place in the war. Fighting as a army is smarter than fighting alone. Plus Raven barely showed herself in all recent volumes compared to Qrow. But now we just have to wait.
I have a Theory. So were assuming that crow told raven that yang was gone or dead and then she tried to teleport to yang and realized she couldn't at all right? What if ravens teleport ability is connected to the body or image of a certain person that she forms a bond with (idk when she would've found this out) and can actually still teleport to someone even if they're dead. So the fact that she tried to teleport to yang and it didn't work AT ALL maybe she thought that yang (and the rest) aren't actually dead and they were somewhere that she couldn't reach. ofc this theory has holes. maybe if the body doesn't exist anymore or is burnt to ash or disfigured badly or something like that she also can't teleport to that person. maybe that's not a rule at all and I'm reaching. Before yang did mention the people raven is connected to but never specified if those were the only people (Yang, Ty, and Qrow). She could've had one for vernall, she might've even had one for summer so that could be when she figured that aspect of her ability out. but obviously this is speculation.
How they introduce RWBY Volume 10 official trailer: they friking make an official version of the epilogue. They also add in the pt B that you wanted before the epilogue pt. Then they end with: "Volume 10: Coming Soon".

I this point, I just want RWBY to end. It’s gotten love, it’s gotten hate, it just needs to end and probably never have any more additional stories to it. Hopefully in the future, many will remember the good times of this whole series and decide to watch it all over again.

I have a personal dislike towards Raven, due to my own biological mother being neglectful towards me and my siblings. If they hit her redemption just right then I might actually start liking her, otherwise I'm not convinced.
If REAL consequences were applied...RWBY and the hreater world of Remnant as a whole...has now taken a step backwards Think about it: Atlas and the SDC are gone. These two facts alone create a myriad of problems: ATLAS had the cutting edge technology, which now means advanced tech is both limited and finite in the world of Remnant. The higher class will have first dibs on it and whatever remains will be left to disenfranchised. This also means whatever technology recovered from the ruins of Atlas will be HOT TICKET items for smugglers, bandits, crime syndicates, black market dealers, etc. Due to the finite limitations of technology, and the resources being spread around, it means dust mining and refining it will be limited as well. This will give rise to alternative means to securing these resources which means more incidents and accidents... Body prosthetics will also face a serious step backwards... Without proper maintenance and/or upgrades, there will be a sudden decline of individuals capable of performing certain jobs Not to mention the serious health crises that will emerge without Atlas medicine and pharmaceutical care for long illnesses. Huntmen/Huntswomen will soon be redeployed for domestic issues. Severe culture shock/clashing from the various Humans and Faunus's that are arriving from the various parts of the world Civil unrest will occur because of this The refugee centers, made for any/all refugees will eventually turn into slums and slums give rise to criminal elements such as drugs, prostitution, illegal gambling, etc. This leads to negative emotions and negative emotions bring the grimm Team RWBY really did take Remnant into the dark ages
Facts were spoken. Salem took out the leaders of the world but I doubt we'll see any real consequences of Atlas being gone. :/ They'll probably make it seem like Atlas falling was just a minor problem but "dont worry. As long as were United we will win!" Something along those lines. They still have Pietro and some scientist but without the proper resources in Vacuo they cant do much. I do expect skirmishes to happen between the people of Vacuo and Atlas it just makes the most sense. Two groups of people that hate each other are now forced to live side by side. That has never gone perfectly before
Wait....so Juane aged up waiting for RWBY to show up, then he de-aged for reasons....and now they return to Vacuo and everyone else is aged up...........man CRWBY really missing out on way to add really interesting arcs - Juane should have stayed aged up, he could continue better reblend with his team while RWBY are all feeling left behind or whatever. Idk - I'm really confused by why they chose to undo Juane age upon his return.....I also feel like volume 9 was entirely pointless to the overall story....like a side quest we didn't really need to see but RT is milking their cash-cow for what they can, even though they squander, suffocate, and ignore plot threads all the time that are better deserving of time. Also, is this really an "Epilogue"......because it sure sounds like the PROlogue to Volume 10 - Epilogue come at the end.....this would be an epilogue to volume 9..........
This was originally apart of volume 9 has its chapter 12 but it got cut. As for Jaune I would have preferred if he stayed aged up as that would have really weighed the events of the EA. Sure he still might have the mental maturity but its just not the same as a physical change.

Ironwood is still dead? I'll pass then. Dude had a lot of potential growth. Especially with Atlas and shit hole, I mean Mantle falling. Ironwood is a more important character imo then Robyn, but here she is... still alive with one of the most useless Semblance powers. It would have been cool if Watts pulled some bullshit and saved both himself and Ironwood. I know he hated him, but it would make sense to me since Salem obviously betrayed him and him probably wanting payback if not on Salem, then defiantly on the most pointless character in RWBY that being Cinder.
I hope they don't ignore the issue of dumping a the population of two major capital cities on Vacuo. That is an interesting and difficult predicament to address and I would far prefer the logistical struggle of maintaining a kingdom under such pressure to be the main crux of the setting, rather than RT combating 'racism bad' again. Yeah, I know it is bad. Anyone with a functioning sense of decency knows discrimination sucks. I want to see the more complicated issues, the tensions of the average person start to bend due to catastrophe. I want to see the irony in how Remnant needs to stick together in order to prevail whilst also being crushed under it's own weight, that the very aspect of unity begins to erode when faced with constriction and desperation. I want to see the Grimm amass not due to Salem's plans but the very prospect of danger RWBY brought to Vacuo through their plan which went awry. I don't have high hopes that they will actually amount to consequences of the setting itself, but it's cool to think about.

Am I the only one upset by the way they seem to have forgotten that Tai exists? Like even in this you refer to Yang and Ruby as Qrows DAUGHTERS rather than nieces. Like, my dude must be going through some shit. Also I’m not liking the blame the victim mentality towards the Schees like. They are an abused wife and children. They made that very clear. Especially when the three kids ALL played a role in ensuring people got to safety. I think Willow would have every right to put those people in their place. Especially if they’re treating her surviving kids like dirt.
Tais been forgotten. Even in the earlier volumes, it was always painted as if Qrows been their father. Tai only had volume 4 with Yang and thats just bcs Qrow went off with Ruby. Tai gets done dirty hopefully he appears in V 10 tho. On Willow I think shes just way too tired to even fire back at those people. She was abused for years, just lost her home and her daughter and she probably just didnt have the energy to fight back. Plus she still feels guilty about all the harm the SDC has done to Vacuo.
In V9 Beyond they make a point of stating that Tai isn't there in order to create mystery around him, so that will probably be payed off if V10 comes out.

Though if that were the case it’d be nice if Yang and Ruby were at least told that’s the case so they don’t feel like he’s not there just because. I feel like Raven would be cut from volume 10 considering how the Tree, or the Blacksmith, seemingly teleports them towards Vacuo. Raven using her portals to teleport the 5 should not work as they were already there to begin with. Also, with the time skip happening, reverting Jaune back to his volume 8 self became even more stupid.
