We deserved another season during that unwanted year without RWBY. * Marrow joining Zwei in harassing Blake. * Salem being _hopeless_ with technology. * Oscar declared the most *adorable* thing in existence.
RWBY Chibi is like the opposite of Teen Titans Go While both are comedic series based and a animated action show, one is loved by the fandom even more than the original show while the other is trashed
I likely helps that RWBY Chibi aired along side the original RWBY and was something to watch between seasons while Teen Titans Go replaced the original.
One ran alongside the original show while the other came long after too. Objectively speaking that's another thing that makes it the opposite of TTG. There are other chibi spinoffs out there far better than TTG like SD Gundam Gaiden and SD Gundam Force (neither of which require you to know anything about Gundam to enjoy), easily the best chibi spinoffs I've ever seen and when it comes to the more comedic skit-based stuff you have stuff like the rest of SD Gundam, Kamen Rider SD, Imagin Anime and Isekai Quartet.
Ya just, cinder original series: completely unlikeable and kills characters that had potential, then there's chibi Cinder: NOOOO MY NEFARIOUS PLANS!!!!
0:16 I love all the personalities/responses here Ruby - It's all a big misunderstanding Weiss - How did this happen? Blake - I've been a wanted terrorist since I was a child, this is nothing Yang - This is how I spend my free time
I love how none of them had the thought of "we'll just wait and clear up this misunderstanding" They immediately went to "RUN AWAY" Edit: I don't English right, even though it's the only language I know
Watching this made me realize that rwby chibi had much more of a lasting impact on me than most of rwby did. I remembered the context for every scene from an episode I watched, while I can barely drudge it up from out of context videos about the main show. Maybe it's because it's just comedy skits, but still. And I haven't watched rwby chibi for years, and far longer than I have rewatched the main show for that matter !
Right? Im so lost on why people prefer blind happy-go-lucky everything is a pun cause... Barbara is the VA. Yang has been through some shit. Personalities change
I agree tho…Yang used to be my favorite character and I related to her in so many ways…but now she’s kinda just meh. She’s been a little better in Volume 9 so far, but she lost what I loved about her at some point, which is sad…
@@nuwa5253 being through shit doesn't equal pick fights with nearly everyone and be bitchy, especially when her father's training/ lesson was not to be confrontational and control her anger properly
0:59 It's a lot more.... interesting, when you remember the fact that technically this isn't Oz's original body and that it used to belong to someone else.
RWBY Chibi was just what we need at the right time!! I do miss it and wished we got more during the long wait for Volume 9 except for the few bits on Neon last year. Thanks for the memories, Dakota!! 😅👍🏿🌹👏🏿😎
It's referencing a Stephen King movie called Misery, in which a nurse traps a writer that she fell in love with through his books and she hurts him in order to keep taking care of him.
@@StuartLegomanLittleOn the subject of character traits that canon does nothing with: why tf did the Volume 1 summary describe Yang as 'a party girl'?
There's a scene right after Blake wonders if she can get the date, that could also be a no context, but the previous scene would have added context sadly (although it's still hilarious regardless).
