Rude woman: You're firing me? You can't do that!" Boss (if it was me): I'm the CEO! I can fire whoever I want! I always find it funny when a rude employee tells their boss what they can and can't do.

@@DigitalMediaPatriots True. Another thing I find funny is, at the beginning, the rude employee is always like "This is a fancy high priced store. We don't sell to poor looking people like you". Then after they get fired, they're like "Fine! This store sucks anyway!"

Have you seen those pretty girls who live in vans in New York City do to be able to live and work in New York? They are so cute. They have a rig in their vans and go to a gym to shower. They cook and live really cheaply and have nice vans. One of them was living in an apartment 3 yrs ago till covid happened. She found out a co worker was living in a van so she decided to try it.her van is so cute. It’s all decorated and she got the other girl to help her. Now Thry work from their vans when they want to go somewhere. They say it’s not easy of course but truck stops with showers and supplies is so helpful. But to see them you’d never know they live in a van. Thry say coworkers don’t know what they are doing. They buy clothes at the companies that have like Nordstrom’s Wrack and then sell them or give them up to a thrift store. Then go back to the stores and get different clothes so they don’t have to wear the same clothes. There’s a areas behind the big buildings where they safely park their vans. There’s even security to help them stay safe. They don’t let people know where they live. On weekends they go places wherever they want. She showed the you tube guy who looks at apartments and stuff in New York. There’s places all over the country where young women and young men live in trucks or vans and school buses. All sorts of stuff. I know of a bunch of widows who live in tiny trailers and they travel together and park together snd all sorts of stuff.

Sometimes I have met some homeless ppl around my local area & sadly, I don't always have some extra money 💲 2 help them However; I have given out water bottles and other things if I can. Also, have given directions to local churches and/or other agencies that could possibly help them. 4 example: local Salvation army location, food banks, & local church who have clothing giveaways. Also, Millville,, PA now also has a small food cupboard, along with a "small library", along aside it. Located in the Millville Park. Hope this info helps someone somewhere Thanks for sharing these stories with me. Please 🙏 everyone have a good night & a good day tomorrow.

Somebody actually hired "Ben" (in the first story). That was a pretty big mistake. I started my own business in 1979 and retired in 2001. Before that I worked for several companies and individuals. I saw a lot of managers and supervisors who should not have been supervisors. It does more damage to a business when a poor manager is hired than when a lower level employee is hired.
@lynprincevalli5221
@lynprincevalli5221 Год назад
So true! A bad manager can cause you to lose all of your good employees basically dumping your business in the toilet
@annkupke4263
@annkupke4263 Год назад
Exactly. I say sometimes people do desperate things like hire people who work then later say I want to become team lead then get hired as a manager. At one restaurant they did that looked at their certification and it seemed fake come to find out I was right they both were fake. Another employee got hers through her church so she started being ruder to employees well she pissed off one and several caught her stealing money. Well they found out or owner caught her so she got fired, the GM barely had any customers so new owner booted him. I work at another company and certain units that is the issue. Managers need ethic training. Team leads also. Corporate is getting rid of the hire ups that do not make their units successful and retain employees or bring in sales. At my location it is people not reading tickets and making food not how the customers ordered. Also speed of service.
@annkupke4263
@annkupke4263 Год назад
@@lynprincevalli5221 yup. At my current employer at one unit the Area manager did not like the operation partner and one manager ASS U MED if they got rid of OP she would become OP. Nope area manager did not pick her cause he did not like her work ethics and she has panic attacks if she don't get her way. I learned that when he moved another OP from her store She was horrible. Several people transferred even the manager that had a panic attack. I transferred to one location cause my fiancée and me transferred to one he originally said to go to well it was short lived cause that unit was clueless. I went to another ype job for a month then reapplied at current unit. Got a better pay. So I am not complaining.

In my 36 year career with the Power Company I ran into so many people down on their luck it broke my heart. I worked outside in a Company Pickup! (retired now 13 years) I bought so many a lunches for them, or tanks of gas to get them home, that I've lost count. Sure I realized that some of them were scamming me, but I felt called to help. Living in a hot climate I made it a habit to keep a ice chest behind my seat with water bottles for myself and anyone I saw that needed a drink. And I always had some real snacks. I was blessed so much in my life, I felt it was my duty to help out. I've seen some hard times myself. So many scenes like this over the years where people in need touched my heart. These Skits sure turned on my water works....

(slaps the second lady) For looking down on homeless people, calling their problems sob stories, and not buying them! I didn't work for 17 years as I was raising kids.. I now work in a retail store and they took a chance on me. I couldn't be more thankful for them caring like they do. I work as hard as I can and means more then I know I'm the 3 oldest at my store. And I love even the younger people I work with. My manager is even young enough to be my own daughter age wise. I count my blessings so much. My age doesn't bother them and they come to me with problems and they know im there if they ever need me.. I could never thank them enough for giving me a chance when they didn't have to

I have personal experience of the 1st video. It was when my brother got married in India. I live in the UK. My Dad is a UK doctor. My grandfather was a millionaire lawyer in India. Now there is a big thing in India about respecting and not offending your elders. I met my future sister-in-law and her father. They are lovely people. I also met the bridesmaids. Again, wonderful people. Now there was a huge argument between my dad, my grandfather, and her dad. My Dad was arguing that this woman is now HIS daughter and HIS responsibility and he would meet all the expenses of the wedding. She and her bridesmaids were going to be kitted out in very nice outfits at his expense. You have to remember that UK money at the time was worth 10 times Indian money. My grandfather was arguing that he and only he would meet such expenses. His new granddaughter was HIS responsibility. It was a very heated but friendly debate. The new daughter had arrived in the family and she was literally a princess. Now we went to one clothing store and I got the shock of my life when we walked in. The store owner- the equivalent of Ben in this case- looked at the bridesmaids and said they were clearly of the untouchable caste and he would not let them in. I was shocked to say the least and I was about to hit him. Then my dad stepped in. He showed this guy his passport and proof he is a doctor and told him how much he was going to spend. It got very different then. We walked out and I asked my sister-in-law if they knew of any clothing store that didn’t take part in child labor or slave labour and only used organically grown material. They said yes-People Tree. We went to People Tree. Needless to say, in one day they did more trade than they would normally do in a few months. If you have ever seen the boutique scene from Pretty Woman then you’ll know what I mean but that was nothing! The store's contents were bought out! You see the following day the clothes for the groom and his party had to be bought. We still had money left over and the bridesmaid asked if we could put it to charitable use. I asked which one. She said there was an orphanage opening but they needed funds. I told her we’d be delighted to help. I’d done my good deed for the day. The moral is to never judge a customer beforehand but take the UK practice. In some UK clothing stores you have to pay a small refundable deposit before trying something on which I think is fair. It stops people from stealing and protects you from damage.
