I wasn't born in the 80s. I was born in the early 2000s, I have been listening to 80s rock and metal since I was like 8 or 9, I'm 17 now. I've been a fan of Quiet Riot for like 5 years now, I did not know they there Hispanic. As a Hispanic, I feel proud. I look up to hispanic metal artists and all and now I look up to these guys now. Lol, I think Rudy might be the devil himself. He still looks the same 35 years later, has played in every big band ever, and is probably currently on tour! The man's been all over the place!

judging by the accent this interview was done for mexican show so they probably didnt think much of carlos. as a mexican american living in Mexico i can tell you they dont like it if mexican americans dont learn spanish, i dont know why , ive even told them here , " you think german americans learn german?" but they think those who dont learn is because they dont want to associate with mexico.

Just to clarify. Carlos is only half-Mexican. He was born and raised in the United States. Notice that Carlos never speaks during the interview. That's because he really doesn't speak Spanish whereas Rudy lived in Cuba until he was 11 years-old. Rudy is fluent (but with a noticeable American accent), but not Carlos.

I wish Carlos would shut up and let someone else get a word in.
