People get offended by this show saying it's "too graphic," and "they're too young." But this is what teens are going through. Drugs abuse, violence, and suicide. Bringing awareness to these issues is what we need. Not sugar coating the real issues cause being a teen doesn't mean just being young and having fun. They go through so much trauma in this generation.

In my mind everyone in Euphoria is broken. Rue suffered from OCD, ADD, general anxiety. Her father died. She was addicted to drugs. Jules suffered from depression from early age and dysphoria. When she was 11 years old she was living in a psychiatric hospital. Maddy was never loved. Her mother didn’t have time for her. Her father was alcoholic who didn’t care about her. Her parents where constantly fighting. And then she met Nate. Nate abused her called her nasty names. But she was with him because she didn’t wan’t to lose another person. So she shut her mouth and didn’t say anything. She just wanted to be loved. Nate was suffering from psychopath disorder. He had a baster dad who fucked kids. Nate had anger problems. His father from early age pushed him to be the best. Kat was ashamed for her body and she was thinking she isn’t good enough for anything. And when she was not afraid anymore everyone called her a slut🤦‍♀️ McKay was pushed by his dad to be the best. All his life he wanted to be the best. But when he attended collage everything changed. His playmates beat him up. He was told by his dad to not show his emotions but it was to hard for him. Cassie was used by guys just for sex. She just wanted to be loved. Her parents fought and then divorced. Her father was in car accident and then become addicted to pain killers. Her mother had depression. Every guy she fell in love with used her for her body and posted her nudes over internet.Others to laugh about. She got pregnant but she did the abortion because she was too young. I have to say this the most realistic teenage show ever

I WILL NEVER be over this show. Might die waiting for the next season.

I've said this before to other editors but honestly some of y'all need to go to film school or put your talents to use for some of these companies because good god. This is amazing.

She’s one of my favorite actors... and to know she went through this makes her the best actor out there.

Sometimes I miss being a teen, then I remember the shitty moments where I was depressed, drunk, etc., and I don’t. But shout out to my momma, she was a bad ass.

She deserves an oscar for this role. Everyone is talking about Scarlett Johansson and Adam Driver’s acting in Marriage Story which I agree was truly great. But Zendaya’s role is so overlooked because the majority of people don’t want to watch something so depressing, simply can’t relate to it therefore they find it unrealistic, are homophobic and probably transphobic. Euphoria is so realistic that even a show representing our reality is cast aside as easily as world problems are today. This edit is so so beautiful🖤 Edit: So many mistakes in this like Oscar/emmy* and her role being “overlooked”.. So happy she won😭

I feel so bad for her sister in this show.. she feels helpless but wants nothing more than her sister to get clean. 😭

That line when she say when your breath starts to slow and everything you feel and wish just sinks. That's how using drugs make you feel for real. It's a feeling you want to last all night long. Just makes you feel like everything will be alright. I've had that feeling so many nights.

the "open the door!" scene literally kills me. i cried so loud when sawt this for the first time, my mom was thinking that someone died

I'm glad Euphoria was made. It really gives the people who think teens don't go through serious stuff but you see that we do go through serious stuff and that there is a serious representation of how we cope with our shit

This is probably the best euphoria edit ever. It's beautiful, the scenes were chosen out perfectly, the audio, everything is just beautiful

Speaking as a high school teen I can say with confidence this show is getting a decent amount of teen life right but is missing some factors that are more fucked up that most think. I've seen some episodes and for the most part it's right on the mark. As teens we are overlooked and stressed and told multiple times that we are not good enough and because of that we go to the things that make us feel better. I know some girls the were pregnant at 12 by men in there early 20's. I saw kids in grade school smoking pot in the back of the school field. I have heard stories about girls being abused by boyfriends and being raped by teachers. Not only that but the amount of times that I have been offered drugs and free sex is to much to count already. Parties are crazy and most teens go insane along with young adults. I know most people think that the show is to much and we are to young but please open your eyes. This is the first step into showing teens that they are safe and can be vulnerable.

That bed scene where jules and rue kiss for the first time, is an absolute beauty. That shot of the bed turning and going on and on with the moments they spent together was just so damn beautiful to watch.

I'm so glad there's more media coming out about the horrors of drugs and alcohol. Both need to stop being shown as 'cool' or 'fun'. This show really understood the reality of a young adult's life

I went through this stuff when my dad died. Even though I never did drugs, I was taking alcohol at a young age to deal with it but now I'm at Uni, studying Business at 21 and I'm clean, I do take alcohol now and again but not that much anymore, my life is back on track now and I'm happy that it is. It's crappy losing a parent but you just have to carry on in life and that's what I'm doing right now, to make my dad proud.

My emotions are really mixed right now .I feel like she is almost like a person in my life. It fucking tears me up to see her getting hurt each episode.I mean idk if its possible to fall in love with a fictional character but if it is i am definetely in love with her. Idk why she has effected me that much and idk if it is an obsession or some kinda fangirling shit but anyways i gotta say that i really appreciate zendaya for doing what she is doing and being gorgeous,fabulous af in her life and in acting. I have never been that much grateful for a show.First of all they really did a good job with picking zendaya for the main character lol she made me feel that damn emotions and i felt like every single moment in the show had a connection with my life in a different level. Like i was experiencing the things that rue jules cassie fez etc. was experiencing. I love em all.💜 But i have to admit that zendaya and rue always will be different and special for me 💜 I just wanted to share my emotions thanks for reading And edit was amazing ❤❤❤

this show is so real, so raw. being a teenager in 2020 i honestly relate to this show in so many ways. it really shows what it’s like being a teen in today’s society and the real struggles that we face everyday

All actors and actresses are brilliant.their own role they play is not easy and for some of them really not!!!! big and strong performances for some of them; they transmit us their own personality , what they've been through, their dreams, their feelings, what is youngness in fact and how to live it the best. That serie is awesome and i received a f... punch in my face and body!!! shivers, shivers, shivers!!!! thanks to all of you and the director and scriptwriter for that beauty!!!!

I remember when I was at work and a girl recommended this show and she gave us a warning that if we watched it we would be mentally scarred. I put it off for a few months but then I decided to finally watch it. she was right, but also at the time I started the show my sibling was heavily using drugs and rue reminded me of him badly. the scene when she is banging on the door and begging fez to open the door. we been through that, the stealing, the acting like he was better, the lies and the part where she fights with the mother. this show was emotional and hit home not even with rue but some of the other characters like maddy, lexi, fez I think we all knew someone like them and at some point what was normal for us to witness and feel wasnt.

zendaya has all my respect and deserves an award for this character, this performance was impressive and amazing.

When I look at this Character I sympathized with her sooo much. Those Fights she had with her Mom feelt it on so many Levels.

Euphoria conveys emotional trauma so well. I think this show shows how our personal traumas manifest in relationships. My heart feels for all the characters but, especially Rue. Her grief for her father shattered her world.

I feel like I wanted to give a better comment that I did previously! I love the song, it’s so emotional and the quotes are so on point and work so well together to tell Rue’s story! I haven’t felt this connected and inspired to edit a character in a while. Your edits are always wonderful and I love them! My favourite part is when they fall into the water and the music goes softer. It gave me chills.

i was at a hotel and they had hbo go for free and i spent all my time watching this. it is truly a great show. might trigger people but it is awesome it doesnt sugar coat anything. shes such an amazing actress.

I watched Euphoria because I was a drug addict. 15-21. Both my husband and I were doing drugs at that age. We've been clean for 10 months. I always pray to God that we both won't relapse. But I'm 7 months pregnant with my son Jacob. We went to rehab before we got married.

tw : i found my brother the same way gia found rue. the person who tries to take their own life never thinks how their death will effect others, especially family. i thought i was okay after a few months but i really wasn’t . i wasn’t myself anymore, i was different. i never smiled like how i used to. i always came straight home and just took naps to get stuff off my mind. i only ate small portions a day. after i saw how he was laying on the floor, the pills, everything changed. the way i saw life was just now a blur, no more happy unicorns shining through the clouds. nothing. it was so traumatic that all i could do was keep it inside because i didn’t want my parents to suffer more with another child having similar problems. i’m glad he’s doing better now but i’m not, i still have vivid dreams about that day, i always wake up in shock. this show touched me in ways i never thought could happen

Choices are important while you are growing up, make sure to make all of them on your own and not to suit anyone else, some will be the right choice and some will be wrong but thats how we grow and learn, by all mean's care and love other people but always make sure you care and love yourself the most, no it's not selfish, its self love and it's the most important thing in life.

when I started watching the series, I thought it was just another 21st century teenage shit ... but right after the first episode ... I felt a special bittersweet feeling of nostalgia ... it brought back memories of the life I lived ... that the series is exactly as it should be ... it shows everything without glitter and says everything without covering the mouth ... this is the life of us young people, whether we like it or not ... 10/10.. for me it is just my opinion.
