MariaSaysHi One Man Guy was a sweet book - I read it twice. Not such a fan of the style, but the plot is compelling and the main character is so endearing.
Met Rufus once, he was giggly, charming and dressed like a deckchair. He was booked into an abscess of a venue, the Trocadero, in London (a neon corporate vomitbox) and became genuinely incensed during his set that the dim witted security staff were talking during the quieter moments of the set. He was right, they should have been told to keep mum while an act is on. Ah well, the record company howlingly dropped the ball on the promo for the first album, fantastic production, it was so good it should have sold itself, yet the only time I heard Rufus in ‘public’ was as piped “Muzak” in an airport in Amsterdam. That’s shameful and mystifying. Glad, he’s’made it’ now but it still rankles that music this good did not explode upon the mainstream then; or maybe that’s to its abiding credit, I dunno

Yes, yes,yes, his eyes…but what are their natural color?? I mean they look blue, but in some pictures they look brown but in some videos they look green. Does he wear contacts? My mom thinks they're hazel or green. The Lulu album doesn't give a good answer but because he's my favorite singer, it'd be cool if he had green eyes because I do too haha!
