Many years ago Diane Keaton sang this song on the Tonight Show and as she sang tears welled up in her eyes. For anyone watching that night time stood still. It was a memorable performance. And now here is Rufus, setting the new standard with his version. He gives everything to the song and the result is devastatingly beautiful.
this man is amazing. There's is pure uniqueness in every one of his performances. that enchanting tone in his voice is true talent. He's very classy and there are very few men left like that. Im so glad that he doesnt do rap!!!!!! Hes my favorite singer and pianist on the planet.
He has such a beautiful voice. It is mesmerizing. I could listen to him all night. And I agree with M Moss, it comes from his heart and soul and love him also!
Even if you don’t like the song, you are obliged, damn near forced, to love Rufus singing it. Unbelievable how he throws himself into each one as if it’s the only one. Fantabulous❣️
The guy has perfect pitch and can adapt his vocal chords to a myriad of genres. His gift is reminiscent of the late Harry Nilsson who was also a genius.
