I never expected this rendition when I opened the link, but I absolutely love it! I thought it was very cute and funny. My mum commented that he has very nice legs for a guy and that he dances pretty well in those heels :P

I was in the front few rows for most of rufus' set, but have to leave when this started, such a pity... it was such a great atmosphere, his has to be one of the performances of the festival for me.

on a sidenote, to everyone complaining about his diction, that's just his style of singing if you listen to the rest of his music. he's not trying to BE judy or be better than her, he's trying to do a tribute to her. he'll still sing the way he sings.

I love Rufus and I love the fact that he worships talent like Judy Garland But what I love most is that even though he's talented himself he shows what a total genius Judy Garland was - she made this stuff look so effortless and he shows its tough to pull off the way she did

I saw him 2 nights ago, and he did this performence, he was amazing.

The dance is brilliant. I literally keep coming back to the video to hear Rufus sing over the band who may not have the happy feet skills but are trying really hard in this dance number.

I remember watching this live - was an awesome suprise, everyone was confused why he was wearing a dressing gown throughout his performance, but it all made sense at the end! he might have messed up his lines because power stopped halfway through and he had to start again

I like the idea of reworking this song, and it's especially amusing how the costumes and dancers mimic the original movie, but... Rufus doesn't have the voice, and he messes up the lyrics too. So this doesn't get my top vote.

No dumbing down and being a tone deaf no talent is madonna ripping off Marilyn, Marlene and everyone else and giving no credit where credit was due back when she could get away with it. You may not like Rufus but it's NOT for commercial shits and grins. LIza did a few of her mom's songs during "Minelli on Minelli."
