I just discovered this man and I can’t stop listening his music this is soo good.

This is the song that really got me hooked on this artist - still one of my favourite songs of the 00s - the mood it creates toward the end, when they're "going through the motions" is amazing

Rufus' melancholic view on life is so beautifully translated in his songs.

Like the Cocteau Twins, Siouxie & the Banshees or The Sundays, Rufus Wainwright is one of those musicians who are so raw and also so passionate about music-making, that almost ALL of their music videos fall flat. There is no visual story to the music almost whatsoever.
