funnily enough... even though he makes it seem light in the beginning of this video... this song, even though small in stature is in no way a cute or light or even a romantic song... it's a very sad song actually. about longing and loneliness and wanting of someone that doesn't want you, yet still holding out on the hope that they might... it's more devastating than it's lyrical simplicity and jocularity would assume!
- I think this song is so freaking cute, I heard it for the first time on Nip Tuck like... A few years back. Most adorable song. A song on TV just reminded me of it. Great song Mrs. Wainwright.
This song makes me breathless every time I hear it! Lyrics are just beautiful, and Rufus.... well, what can I say? The most gorgeous man on the planet!
Boy, has he grown into himself! When he started he so still gawky and scared....now take gander (!) at this gorgeous hunk of man. Such a talent. Major big time talent.
He has the most lovely male voice I have ever heard. I actually teared up when he started singing. So, so good. Discovered him from Nip/Tuck, fun to find out his step mom is one of the Roche sisters, who are among my favorite groups of vocalists.
he is gay yes, and absolutely nothing wrong whatsoever with that, his purity through music and genuine happiness he has arrived to with his lifestyle in today's world should be admired. He is a very happy person with the way he lives and it channels through his voice, what more could ask for in life than to love who you are and express that love to the rest of the world in way they can close their eyes and feel?...
i know he's super gay - when i saw him live his finale was to dress in drag as Judy Garland : ) - but his voice still makes me melt like ice cream on a hot afternoon.
@EpicLame100 Seriously, it doesn't matter. Homophobic or no, talent is talent, and you should just appreciate it without worrying about what they do in their private lives.
when i listen to this song i can't pay attention to the lyrics because i am so distracted by trying to identify the tune....it is familiar to me and everyone else i know, but we can't identify it or what it is similar to. anyone know?
We girls just don't like to see a gorgeous talented guy that is gay merely because it means one less awesome guy available to us! We're left with the beer guts and wrestlers. It's not the fact that he likes guys, it's the fact that we just want him to like us. true story.
I Don't know, people. Maybe I just can't look at them. ( I think it is the influence on one national gay singer, that my country has. He is awfuly lame.) You know, he looks so great, when you think, that he is a real man.
