At the 2022 Earlston 7s tournament at The Haugh, Round 7 of the Kings of the 7s series, Gala and Selkirk contested the first Semi Final with the winners destined to meet either Jedforest or Melrose.
Gala beat Earlston and Kelso on their way to the semi final, while Selkirk took the scalps of The Powerbombs and GAC 7s to reach this stage.
