As a South African, I have huge respect for the All Blacks, A formidable team considered as the threshold of rugby standards. To play against them is a privilege, to beat them is a milestone etched in history. Very few teams have achieved what can only be described as All Black greatness. You all have our RESPECT..!!!! Of course all kiwis and rugby fans respect springboks! Sadly for all teams and especially in final was biggest scared to be what TOM and how mutch TMO want ruling game! This TMO at final was showed referees as 🤡 and usekess 🙈🤢💩🤮🤒! Hopefully union rugby getting not more laughing bout TMO and world rugby bureaucrats🙏 World rugby want american football where after every game play a break are, for TMO to controll last secound or minute?🙊😁

I'm an all blacks fan. I remembered before the WC people were rating us very bad. I didn't believe the media and analysts. I believed in the team, they laid low. They showcased the power of self-belief. Even though we lost in that final by one point. I'm proud of the boys sticking together right from that first pool game loss against France. ALWAYS BLACK ⚫️

I remember the so-called pundits writing the ABs off, and I was thinking, it's really not a smart thing to do, but I think the NH was so caught up in the hype and probably the hope of the cup returning to the north that they were a bit naive to write off the ABs. I always knew the ABs were in it to win it. It was a tough final, I didn't sit down for the whole game. Love you guys and the rivalry. From a saffa.

@@cy-villian I would say he is meaning as of history. The all blacks to date have a winning percentage of 76% over 637 games 1903 to 2023. And have only lost to 7 counties out of the 21 counties they have faced. Don’t get me wrong SA is a great team and deserves praise but they don’t have the history in winning as the all blacks do. But they are next to

@@cy-villian In the pro era the ABs have consistently been the benchmark with other teams claiming that occasionally. Amateur era it would be neck and neck between the ABs and Boks with a slight edge to the Boks perhaps. In terms of knockout rugby, the Boks have the slight edge overall.

@@nicolasnaude-im3wc What is not shown is that Cane has a good view of Kriel and has time to line up the tackle and lower. Second, in Cane’s words Kriel does a U-turn. That means he loses all momentum and has a standing start. Cane and Kriel are similar heights which means it isn’t easy to get shoulder to head. In fact, he almost has to raise. The reddest red of the tournament. And that’s a defensible statement of fact. You can look at all the card incidents in all the games and not see a tackle like that sans mitigation.

Their excellence is the reason why beating them is such a monumental achievement, celebrated with such enthusiasm by other teams. My second favourite team. And arguably the best rugby team year after year. Playing against the ABs is the pinnacle of every rugby player no matter which country you’re from. Never listen to the media or the ‘anal’ysts. Never bet against an AB team. Nothing but respect for their pride and determination. They’re a joy to watch. Hold yours heads high. Cheers from SA.

I know what you mean. I've been unable to watch the final and relive the heartbreak. Knowing the pain the boys were going through was tough. The ABs were going through real adversity in 2022 and 23, so to get to the final was incredible. The only way is up and I believe the ABs will be back stronger than ever ❤️

As a Saffa now that the jubilation of a RWC win against the AB's has settled, I'm now psychology preparing myself for being smashed by the AB's in between RWC's, like the last 32 years...... and my soul is just not prepared for it yet 😭

I am a South African who loves both all blacks and springboks. I was too consumed by my own imotions of relief after 3 hard games in a row to notice how painful it was for the kiwis especialy Sam Cane. Only now I feel such a sad feeling I have a tear on two in my eyes. 😢

The Red Card did take it's effect on the players what officials and referees don't realise is if one person gets it affects the performance and physical well-being for the rest of them making them create errors under pressure and struggling mentally all this should not happen by the TMO and Officials of the Final Game.

Not the way you want to win (or lose) a game. Tries disallowed, missed kicks at goal all added to the drama, the excitement, the disillusion , all in the game we love. A game of inches, wins and losses, a game of respect and friendship . The Springboks and All Blacks will always give their best against each other.

From a South African Bok fan. When playing against NZ it's always like playing against the final boss. South Africa one time was beating NZ by 15 points, then they just turned it around in the last 15-10 minutes. That was insane. I still have no words for it 😅

I remember the lead-up to the World Cup and how all the media was hyping up the Northern Hemisphere and said SA might be in the conversation but this is going to be the year a NH team wins it... as a South African, I said their biggest mistake was leaving the All Blacks out of the conversation and writing off because of one or two bad test matches, I'm glad they learned the hard way. I am also happy that we got our 4th before the start of the Razor era because I see another dominant All Black period coming.

I am also a South African and a Springbok supporter, I was overwhelmed by joy when we won the world cup once again...but....this was probably the best game of rugby that I have seen, between the two best teams in the world. Sam I really hope your country don't abandoned you for that, you are really a great player and after this video I can see that you are a good person and that you would give your all for your team. (By country I mean the rugby powers and not your country as a whole). This video also made me realize that like we yell and cry and laugh when our team win and lose....so do you. Hope our rugby journey between the Springboks and the All Blacks will continue for years to come. See you in South Africa later this year..

My Partner and I Supported the Springboks and their amazing win over the All Blacks I only realisè the pain , sadness and doubt that soon followed over their loss and to be honest had the All Blacks did well under the pressure they would have won the World Cup without a doubt The All Blacks as well as the brand as a whole is much bigger than what the Springboks brand could ever achieved in 4 years so what I'm trying to say is the All Blacks will always be one of the best Rugby Teams in history their winning percentage dwarfs ours and their Legacy grows through every new player an all inspiring team to honor and cherish ❤

As a South African supporter I am going to join a lot of my compatriots in expressing my utmost respect to this great team called the All Blacks. To be truly honest, one of those two missed kicks goes in, I think the All Blacks would have won this game. As a supporter of this beautiful game it is hard not see how at the very highest level it really is a game of fine margins. Biggest respect and love to the All Blacks from the Republic.

Past is past. This is a difficult pill to swallow as an All Blacks fan. But the luck wasn't never with ABs that day. Pollard's first kick hit the post and went in, Jordie's 73th minute kick went into the middle but then deviated to out. Hopefully Razor will bring back those dominant ABs back!

With my South Africa hat on - there is nothing better than beating the All Blacks. It's the Everest of rugby. Such huge respect for everything they have achieved, but also so easy for us to relate to New Zealand rugby culture and passion. I could feel Sam Cane's hurt with him as I watched him talking about it. We are made of the same stuff, even when we're rivals on the field. With my rugby fan hat on - there is no team in the world that I enjoy watching play the game as much as the All Blacks. Thank you to all those players for the hours of pleasure and enjoyment they have provided over the years. My first memory of watching rugby as a boy was the flour bomb test series, waking up at 4am South African time. I didn't understand at the time how important that series was, or just how much politics would deprive me of that experience for a decade ... by which time I was already finished school.

The others are a bit disjointed and the ending is so abrupt that it doesn't feel as if the episode has ended... was searching for Ep5 which doesn't exist.

What a great bunch of sportsmen. The healthiest thing about the ethos of rugby is to take responsibility for what happens to you without complaining about external circumstances. The All Blacks were desperately unlucky but the reason they are so great is that they don't dwell on any injustice but try to make things happens for themselves. The Boks are the same and that's why it's such a great rivalry.

I love the ABs and even as a South African I was shocked that SamC was red carded. This is not the way I wanted the Bokke to win. Both teams came through a hell of a World Cup and this final in its self was a southern victory. See you guys in 2027. All the love and respect from a Bok loyalist.

From a South African, I can’t believe that red card had no mitigation. There were far worse incidents during the competition that stayed yellow. Even the ref looked appalled when he was instructed to change it to red. Sam will be back. World rugby is more exciting when the AB’s are at their best. Respect and love. See you soon.

@@Marius_vanderLubbe you are embarrassing yourself and our Boks and other Boks' supporters. If you don't have anything positive to say, rather zip it. Else post a reply that explains why you believe the infraction by Cane was worthy of a red card, instead of posting an inane & immature response. And yes, unfortunately for Cane, the ruling was by the book (WR infractions re serious head injuries) and because Cane was unlucky to not be able to take steps to avoid the high collision (took no mitigating actions), the yellow card was upgraded to a red card. Standing/straight-up tackles are not acceptable and can cause serious damage to the person being tackled, whether intentional or unintentional. Since these rules have been enforced globally, the Boks have been drilled in tackling techniques to avoid such tackles (they go in lower), so it's become second nature (as shown in Chasing the Sun 2). Kolisi's yellow card stayed yellow because he made an attempt to tackle even lower when the opposition player moved lower down into his tackle. Tackle technique is crucial (Farrell is an example of a player whose tackle technique is poor & needs to be corrected). From a forever Springbok supporter who respects the ABs.
