I'm glad to hear someone else criticizing the cricket! I bought my daughter a CZ 452 Trainer for her 8th Birthday and even though its a bit too big for her to shoot it offhand, she has no problem being extremely accurate off of a bench or in prone supported.
I just put the Vortex 2x7 on my 10-22 sporter. Looks awesome and will be sighting in early next week. My first Vortex after 3 Nikons and its looking like a winner.
Remember to pickup a Volquartsen 10/22 magazine for 22 Shorts. You will be able to shoot Super Colibri's and 22 Shorts without any issues on your Ruger American Rimfire 22LR.

OldDominion Guns & Gear Hello there, I have a cheap 3-9x40 Bushnell on my Savage Mark 2 right now. It has a duplex sight on it. The finer part of the duplex is okay for 50-100 yard shooting. However, I would like to get a scope in the future that has a finer duplex to help shoot smaller groups. How thin is the cross hair on these Vortex Crossfire scopes?
