That is an awesome collection! I love that Mark IV standard anniversary edition. I'm going to add that one to my list to be on the hunt to purchase. I currently have a MK IV 22/45 Lite, a MK IV Bull Barrel, and a really nice unfired Standard with original box and paperworks made in 1969. Interesting video, thanks!

I bought my Standard, 6" barrel in 1977. I paid $90, new, at the time.

I want to add this to your report for the benefit of anyone charting the evolution of this platform. My 4 3/4" Standard was shipped in late 1969 and has a pinned ramp to upright post style front sight rather than a Patridge style. It has the logo on the left grip panel and it has already been changed to a silver "bird" in a black field. Hope that helps someone.

I’m wondering if you could help me identify my Ruger? I was told it’s a P-3, not so. It’s a Standard type, the insignia is on the right grip, safety slide lock, the mag button is on the left side. Sn 14-22315. It doesn’t have Standard or mark number that I can find at all. If you could help me out I would be great full, it is a gun my dad left me and I love it, it shoots wonderfull. Thank you for any help you can give me.

That serial number is a 1977. 14-60121 started the '78 line. '77 line serial number started at 13-99097. And no, only the Mark 1 is so marked on the barrels, Standard just say on left side of barrel, Ruger .22 caliber rim fire.
