Hi Bo. Thanks for the video. My most sincere condolences to you and your family, as well as the GunBlast family, on the loss of your brother Jeff. He, as well as the rest of you, changed the business for the better, and we all reap the benefits of that.
Had the Ruger lightweight commander I liked it so much I sold it to a friend (for a great price) I recently picked up a Colt WCC after watching Jeff's videos. You'all rock! Al
Thanks for the video Sir. It has been a few years since the last time I went to Gunsite. Gunsite is the best. A great facility with great people. I would like to return and go thru an advanced pistol course again only this time using my new Ruger Redhawk in 45ACP if only I could find someone to take care of the Horses and Cattle while I am gone. Fat Chance that will ever happen. Thanks again I have many fond memories of Gunsite.
love me some Ruger. I still say that they are the best American firearms company overall. Excellent products, excellent customer service/warranties, excellent prices and they are American! Great great company. I'd recommend a Ruger to any new shooter out there. or any shooter for that matter...
Don't get me wrong Jeff, but I like watching Boge. overalls just like me. liking the 1911 just like me. Ruger.... you got it. I believe we would tie in a foot race!!!! great video.
Good video, Boge with GunBlastdotcom. Ruger makes good guns, here in the USA. The Ruger SR1911 would be an excellent purchase, even for people that prefer smaller calibers. A wise person would have a least one 1911 style pistol in the gunsafe. ....... Gunsite Academy in Arizona must give good quality training. Gunsite was the first civilian facility out of the chute, and they're still at the top of the training schools, for gun fighting.
Hi Boge, That was a great video. I had heard about gunsite in the past and it was interesting to see how they work. How was the lightweight commander to shoot?? I have a full size 1911 with a stainless frame and slide and the weight makes it a real pleasure to shoot. Does the lightweight buck a bit more with 230 grain bullets?? That belt rig you were wearing looked really nice. What kind of suspenders were those?
+Toozman Perry brand suspenders. I like they way they hook underneath the belt, rather than clipping onto it, as those clips are not very strong. Perry suspenders are available on Amazon, and many other outlets - I bought mine at a Rural King store. Boge
not what was expected of the video's that you normally would have made. JUST my opinion.and I think that your regular videos with you yourself doing them is best sorry but on again my apologies for my opinion!
You have a habit of coming into videos and insulting the content creators. Recently you did the same thing in a tactical response video. You're just a troll
I dont like sucky Rugers frames on there pistol. Anything called "investment casting" aint going to be good dude! Seen to many problems with cast frame guns to include wonky frames out of spec and voids weak spots in the metal. No sir I like my pistol made like a damn samurai sword HAMMER FORGED ONLY!
Ruger's investment casting process has proven itself for nearly 70 years. Their guns are well-known as the toughest in the Industry, that's why custom makers use them to make handguns for hunting dangerous African game.
@@Gunblastdotcom Eh... I dont do blind brand loyalty all I care about is the facts could care less about brand. If I was going to get a cast metal frame 1911 let it be the Bul Armory Government! The Israelis blow Ruger out of the water at there own game my friend.
@@Gunblastdotcom William B. Ruger was a jerkoff he was the one that sent the letter to Congress to ban high capacity magazines he could care less about you all he gave a damn about was making cheap guns cheaper and making money. Ruger can go pound sand!
@@Gunblastdotcom Overrated garbage! Rugers have some of the WORST revolver triggers on the planet! They compensate they garbage unrefined internals with heavy springs. I can use Ruger revolver springs in my 1975 Ford Ranchero truck suspension!
