Really appreciate you shooting 22 and 5.7. I just purchased this as my first suppressor and was nervous about how it would sound on 5.7 from a non-pistol…especially with the lack of videos because of how new it is.
How was the first round pop on the ocl 22ti? I'm looking for a 22lr can and it's between the mask, oculus and the ocl titanium 22. I like ocl products but I don't want to sacrifice the quality first round pop performance of the mask and the oculus.
FRP is in this video - in that sense it’s not really an issue in the use cases I did. This was cci standard velocity which is subsonic out of a pistol for what it’s worth as well. Most 22 cans handle this situation well. However if you run the oculus on short form it ain’t helping a lot 😂.

Should do as good as any other 5.7 rated for that scenario. The oculus is just a touch better on the ps90 and I suspect it would still be better on a pistol. However the weight savings with the ocl I'd sacrifice that small difference if that was solely my end goal.
@@gatcattillheard. If you do you’ll be the first to do a head to head comparison between the 2. On pew science the resilient has a slight higher overall composite score, but in reality the ocl preformed better on pistols and the Jessie’s girl was better on rifles according to pew science. I just got my Jessie’s girl approved yesterday, 4 day approval!
@@gatcattill Jay has only reviewed 3 silencers in 22LR...none of which is the Dead Air Mask. I'm not saying it's better but the mask has long been favored for its performance with no first round pop.
@TristanPT no doubt. However even before Jay reviewed the oculus, on its release it was praised as being one of if not the top. In the end tho, a potato can suppressor 22lr well so any can will work great 🫡😁
22lr is inherently easy to suppress. That being said, according to the facts and data from Jay at Pew Science - oculus is literally the number 1 suppressor.
DA is the worst Suppressor company by a wide margin 😂 More mount failures and QC issues than any other manufacturer. Also have the most bs marketing that tricks people into buying their garbage.
