I wish I would have watched your video before buying this product. I was frustrated at the install for the same reasons as you. They clearly didn't test this out with a focus group. It became a challenge but I once I abandoned their instructions. It will be anatomically impossible for many to get their hand all the way down to the bottom and have eough room for the fingers to tighten the nut. I was able to tighten the nut down without problem by holding the nut tight with two fingers while my wife screwed (tightened) the cup at the bottom. ~ Now ~ I hope this product works better for me than others.

3 years later same problems. I had to have my kids start the nut then found it was too close to the edge to use a socket so i had to wedge it in place using a long flat screwdriver and spin the cup to tighten it. Also the directions were glued to the unside of the pipe at the bottom so i had to have my kids use a small round nose scraper to get the paper off so it didnt clog it later.

Agree. Very frustrating, actually. The nut just isn’t catching. 2 minute job now 30 min plus.

I had the same issue with the spout…I wish you Would have shown how you mounted the hanging bracket to the tube…there are little to no instructions on this and I am worried if I drill into the tube I will have a hole that leaks water!

Won't drilling a hole into the tube cause it to leak?

I ordered 2 of these. Installed is ridiculous. One jammed open and lost all the water, the other jammed closed and wouldn't dispense water.
