+THE BUSPASSCAMPER thanks George wish I could have went the week later when you guys went but I can't go every week my mate Steve had plans to come up that weekend
Good wee video Stuart , one point for anyone who uses bothies though . Perishable foodstuffs aren't left at bothies as it attracts vermin (I know the shortbread will have been ok as that's a busy bothy) just pointing this out for people incase they think it's the done thing in all bothies in Scotland.
That walk in and out looks amazing Stuart, very lovely bit of Scottish wilderness, you put a pic of Ruthven Barracks at the end, I've been there about 15 years ago with the wife and kids, we were going to camp there in the field near the little woods next to the barracks but our tent decided it had had enough and it ended up in a pile in the little woods and I drove to a small caravan park for the night and came home the next day, we didn't get to check out the barracks in the end lol, atb mate 👍🏻🇬🇧
Entertaining from start to finish as always mucker. A great weekend away by the look of careful editing :). Who forgot the brown sauce for the square slice.?',,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, atb from BallochVegas
New subscriber myself and partner are planning our first wild camp this year to arran funnily enough hence how I found ur channel do u have any tips for first timers lol. Ps great content look forward to more videos
Scottish Wanderer dude you have not included the link of my and 1 man and his caravan in the shoutout video can you please include it...? As always all your videos are great quality ones...👍😁
Nice to see you saved the important thing after the river crossing....the wine lol! The hike out was great, as was the bothy and I had to lol when your marra got all his food out and stared cooking his food saying " It's all mine" lol, it did look canny mind. It looked a real windy hike back as well, cheers Alan
I saw that eating bacon cob, thought you could live life with out bread, just joking enjoyed the video as much as you enjoyed your cob. White pudding people I speak to down here have never heared of it, first time I tied it was N. I. 1972 but must admit I prefer Black pudding (bowl type big fat bits in it, as the saying goes Myine)
Oh Let you off, still it was a good video and the banter was good to hear, that looks like a good little place pity there is nothing like it round here like it, mind you the kids round here would trash it, they never know when there well off.
Great times Stu, scoff looked awesome and the bothy was snug as a bug, would like to have seen the outside and setup matey, maybe next time. Walk out was great and the track was eroded not corroded ya wee numpty lol :-) jokes aside old mate, do you have much deer sign in that region? plenty of food for them Stu. Let me know mate. Cheers big ears. Mooster.
Nice one pal! Loved the cooking, awesome food! What sleeping are u using mate? I just bought a new 4 season rated bag and it's total shite! Can u recommend something decent? Thanks pal!
+Laci Ihasz I got my self a 4 season down sleeping bag - 20 lol I am back using the British army arctic sleeping bag little heavy but great sleeping bag for winter
i think i will get one too. this was my 3rd sleeping bag i bought all 4 season rated and all rubbish. i really don't mind a little extra weight if it keeps me warm.
I'm going to buy you a Celsius/Fahrenheit thermometer, Stuart. Collin seems like such a nice guy, willing to join in the revelry. Absolutely love Mark. Always enjoy seeming him out with you. He has such a great personality. You saved the most important thing, the wine. Could have been a disaster if it was lost. I'm still waiting for a Bigfoot to respond to your yells in the wilds. :) You know, with so many people out there and so many cell phones, it won't be long before you can't relieve yourself out in the wild without being photographed or videoed and put on RU-vid. ): By the way, is black pudding the same as blood pudding?
