These are good tents, but just so people are aware, the material isn't silnylon. It's regular poly-treated nylon with a siliconized DWR treatment on the outside. That's why Naturehike calls it "silicone-coated nylon" and not "silnylon", but they're happy for people to think that's what it is. This treatment is not permanently bonded, which is what makes silnylon silnylon, and needs to be reapplied periodically, about once a year depending on how much it gets rained on. The tent will be fine once the original treatment wears off, just the water will stop beading on the fly.
This is gold , idk if was intentionally ment to be funny. But lord i laughed. Hope in the two yrs since , you have never hung a hammock that tight again. Cheers mate. From canada
Yum looks like a great breakfast. 56 in the North East usa. Still camping ( in a tent NOT a fancy camper) hiking and fishing. And The youngins dont have anything on us, were survivors from when life was tougher Something they haven't experienced yet.
Has he passed away? I heard someone say this in a comment. Is there any way of clarifying, as I'm someone who genuinely wouldn't post something like this, especially if it's false news. ❤
Great video, my tent was also like new. Amazing value for £49 at Goarmy. The design is perfect with doors either side. Thanks for a great video. Tip Do not feed the zips back into the tent as that allows water in. Be warned. Also face the slope of the tent roof into the wind, that helps.
Great set up Stuart. My free standing bug mosquito tent is also bomb proof. I always setup with the opening fully zipped up and never leave it open. When I pack up I make sure the opening is zipped closed again. This way nothing enters while setting up or when packing up! By the way good to see you cleared the area of debri and leaves; as we all should know the mosquitos and bugs use that layer as an insulation, just like we use sleeping bags!
I know it sounds bonkers but it works with bacon - if you add some water when frying it (carefully) then it helps brown and crisp it up and reduce chance of it sticking.
Honestly it would be easier to kidnap Jamie Oliver from his daft campervan parked behind Irvine Lidl store, he knows a lot about food but in real life he's a bit of a mong! so you would probably e better off buying Lidl own brand Spam!!!
i see what you did wrong, it was set up with the wind hitting the head side of the tent, if it was hitting the foot side (shorter pole side) it should have been fine. but then again 20mph shouldnt break a naturehike tent no matter what way winds blowing
