Thank you for this video. It was insightful, and I appreciate it. Have you done a video or can you do a video with scriptural basis on how to pray for the lost and unbelieving. I don't see anything in scripture that (SPECIFICALLY) commands us to pray for the lost or how to pray for the lost. Jesus didn't talk about it and Paul didn't talk about it . You mentioned the apostle Paul, but Paul did love God. He said himself that what he did, he did in ignorance. I'm very sincere in trying to find "how" to pray for the lost. I've looked at hardness of heart, how does God open the eyes and ears, or is it based on willingness first on the part of the unbeliever, etc. it truly appears to me that much of the church assumes that we can just pray whatever we want, but for myself, I believe in the Scriptures and my faith is not prompted by anything other than scripture. I've heard people pray that God will save their loved ones, and that just doesn't make sense to me. I don't see that anywhere in Scripture. He already gave his only begotten son: how much more can he do? Do you know of any passage at all in scripture where someone is pleading with God to soften someone's heart? I'm hoping you can help me in my search. Thank you.

Important teaching here. And may I add: those around us are blind, bound and dead, yes. God saves, yes. But what are the blind, bound and dead saved from? "Jesus, who rescues us from the coming wrath" (1 Thessalonians 1:10).
