This new season of Bojack snufkin it's a little bit weird but I love it

I really love and appreciate the way you've taken Snufkins character arc in this series. Most abridged platforms would make the joke just to dismiss it, but here, what happened is something That Happened and there's an aftereffect through it all. I remember when you did the episode with the Groke, how you described her as the metaphor of cold unfeeling, then at the end of the episode to have Snufkin say "I don't feel anything", it really hit me. In that moment, whether Snufkin knew it or not, he was becoming just like the idol he worshipped in the most unfortunate way, now left to wander MoominValley as the ice of what happened to him clung to his heart. I'm just glad he had Mymble and Moomin to help pull him up before his true transformation took place. I'm glad Snufkin got the help he needed

You lured us in with comedy and then surprised us with a genuinely insightful therapy session. I feel unexpectedly Seen. Thank you so much for the effort you put into these.

How can you honestly call this _ruining_ Moomin? This angst-fluff stuff is so amazing and does so much to build off of the characters, and influences how others perceive these characters and themselves.

I know I'm a couple days late but I just wanted to say thank you. As someone with not-so-great parents the part with Mymble and Snufkin actually made my cry, and it got me reevaluating how I see my family and friends. The fact that this little series on RU-vid makes me feel more things than any other show or movie I've ever seen is really so impressive, and I love it so much for that. So thank you. I hope that, wherever you are, you're happy and healthy, and that you're getting all the love you deserve.

It annoys me how the 90's cartoon never explained Snufkin's backstory or how any of the characters are related. I'm assuming the books explain it?

I think about the series a lot, I remember its jokes and its themes and whatnot, but I also think about how it's so obvious that you TRIED with this whole series. It would've been so easy to just make a few jokes about a failing marriage and Snufkin being in a cult and that being the end all be all of it all. I've seen other series do the same thing, Friendship is Witchcraft is a great example of that. But no, you try, and there's something so honest and so open about being willing to try, and being willing to let things take the courses that they would. I hope you get your own series one day doing your own thing, because I really think you have something to say. I loved this episode, and I also really like your voice acting! I associate it more with the characters than their actual voices, believe it or not.

I really enjoyed this episode! I really like when ppl who make this kind of content occasionally take a step further out of the source material then they're already doing. And again, I am a sucker for dark comedy having genuine drama drop in more and more as the show progresses, and the message told through Mymble at the end is legit good advice^^

This is genuinely a really well written in depth soul healing take on their relationship with their parents and how to people handled their unfortunate upbringing very differently. Thanks for making this, I know a lot of people would find this episode really relatable. We can all learn something from this episode. Absolutely outstanding work!

Nah, Mumble was definitely in the wrong. Having an open marriage I don’t mind but not when they have kids involved. It can leave disastrous lasting impacts on the children not to mention probable abuse from the parents many “lovers”. This was very well made and the Snufkin arc is very interesting, you should be hired to work on the 2019 series tbh, the voice impersonations are also very good. But the result of someone suffering because of a dysfunctional family is something that greatly angers me, so that part was hard to watch.

that song in he beginning was bugging be for when I had heard it before, hen I remembered. Moral Orel! it.. pretty darn fitting with what you're doing with this series. ... did you also get into The Mountain Goats through hearing No Children in Moral Orel?

I like this brought up slut shaming when the entire character of Mymble senior, as said by the author of Moomins, was to poke fun of sluts. She is literally meant to shame women like Mymble. Ah! Tove! What a hoot of a woman.

Something about this series just works really well.

I have come back to Mymble and Snufkin scenes so many times. It hits pretty close to be as someone who recently have come to realize that my parents, specifically my dad, were not the best after all. Alot of mistakes were made by them raising me and my brother, things that has effect on me to this day. I have lot of anxiety issues and depression, and maybe some of it is bc my of my dad. But now as adult I can see he is still trying his best, I can't bring myself to talk to him about these feelings, I just can't, antleast not yet. So the scene is really good and emotional in level I have not seen in any media I consume. It's greatly written. Just amazing on so mamy levels I can not explain.

I was not expecting the therapy session but now I have to rethink my life because I specifically have a problem with accepting people's love so... thank you... holy hell.

This episode really hit hard with me, you're writing is the most incredible I have ever seen in my life. And that genuinely comes from the deepest part of my heart. I feel like I was Snufkin sitting in that chair with Mymble talking to me. I have always struggled horribly with allowing other people to love and accept me because I can't love and accept myself. I really do appreciate the way you wrote Snufkin, it was kind of a wakeup call for me. I finally understand now that I am allowed to want love, I am allowed to be loved. I am so very grateful for this episode. I thank Mymble for that, even if it wasn't really me in Snufkin's chair. I know I am still going to struggle with accepting things that have happened in the past because I am angry that I can't change what happened. But, because of this video, I can try to accept things as they are, and move on. Thank you so much for this. You are truly a delight. Thank you, thank you, thank you. ❤❤❤

This episode makes me curious to get some more Mymble Jr. & Joxter interaction or meta, beyond what we read of in 'Exploits'. Has never occurred to me before that she might also see him as a kind of father (well, not as much as Moominpappa, perhaps, but). It's interesting to ponder to what degree she knows/knew Joxter beyond that one adventure they had. Also, wondering why Mymblr Jr. hasn't seemed to ask her mother about her father--maybe Jr. figures that Sr. when asked won't remember who the exact man was, and doesn't want to hear it.

hi, i know youre really popular, so this comment will be lost, or you will just never read it, but im sitting here at my little desk in my home after bingeing the entyre ruining moomin series again yesterday at school, because i felt upset and lonely that day, and i realized all over again how much watching these makes me feel better. any time since discovering these when ive been just in a horrid mix of empty despair and hopelessness for whatever reason, this has been the only thing to make me feel almost okay again.
