Zhou Zi Shu, leader of a royal praetorian secret service, gets embroiled in a conspiracy in the martial arts world after leaving his former life behind. He meets the mysterious Wen Ke Xing from the Ghost Valley, who is on a quest to avenge his parents’ deaths. You know, when people told me this show was gay, I was like “sure, like the untamed probably.” And then I watched it and thought “oh yeah, this is very gay, but I think this is the line, they can’t get gayer than this.” And then the next episode came along and waltzed right over that line. All this to say: You’ve seen NOTHING yet. Also I believe Wen Kexing should have the middle name “fate” because he’s always the one bringing them together.

Fun fact Nr. 1: The "Is it pretty? It's perfect" lines are ad-libs by the actors. Zhang Zhehan (Zhou Zhishu) and Gong Jun (Wen Kexing) really walked into the set and understood the assignment. It's just so wild to me how much care went into detail and characterization, despite all the difficulties this drama had to face. Kudos to everyone involved, truly!

woooo more WoH content. the first few episodes are relatively slow but as more and more things get uncovered, it REALLY starts to pick up and there's so many memorable scenes in every episode

I dont think it's slow at all? Idk if anything, things are moving quick, there are a ton new chars, and a ton of plot to get caught up on 👍

@@NoahComa its definitely fast compared to a lot of other dramas when it comes to the introductory episodes. But once you get far enough in its like 💥💥💥 with twists and turns and emotional beats, so looking back on the first few episodes feels pretty foreign for someone who's finished the show. Definitely don't mind it though...I love seeing peoples initial thoughts on the series and the characters. Makes it really interesting to see how your thoughts on things will progress by the end.
