Yes! I’d love to see something from Novyi Zem or The Wandering Isle. We really only see those in flashbacks.

"leave all the grisha characters alone to rest."that's a statement although bitter but true and i want to see that happen as well.😅

Agree that this duology feels unnecessary and superfluous. But Bardugo seems to be saying that she’s done with the Grisha books for the forseeable future. I think she might indeed be focusing her attention on the 9th House books. I agree that that’s probably a more productive direction for her creative energies.

I'm glad you liked it. I wasn't plannig to read anything about the grishaverse. Because of the series hype I decided to binge- listen the whole grishaverse in 2 or 3 weeks so to me is one big thing and if you ask me I can't make the diference between one book and the other. But in the end the grishaverse as a whole is a 3.5 stars to me. I totally agree with you, she just needs to let it go. Hugs from Argentina.🤗🤗

Random question but does anyone know where I can get the special foil cover hardback of this book? I know I can get king of scars on book depository and the sequel is also there but doesn’t mention the foiled cover in the description like king of scars does?

I haven't read this duology yet, though I was gifted both books. As someone who loves Six of Crows but was 3-starish about The Grisha trilogy, would you say this is worth reading? Does her writing in these books resemble that of one series more than the other?

I really loved Nina and Matthias in SoC, I enjoyed crooked kingdom but the ending was definitely upsetting lol. Does Nina’s story ‘weaken’ from there? I know Nina meets a new love interest in the duology and I don’t want all of that to be even more ruined for me. But all in all is the duology worth reading after reading SoC and the trilogy?

Idk I really don't think it was necessary tbh and I would say Nina doesn't really feel the same in these books to me personally
