"Rules As Written" Bloopers | 1 For All 

We've heard the objections. Now let's hear from the defense. - Objection! Evandra clearly drinks a potion before initiative, therefore it should be a Free Action. Her unarmed attack is valid. - Sustained. In the script she was supposed to drink the potion while walking over to him, meaning that intiative had begun. However the terrain was too difficult for the actor to walk safely whilst drinking so we changed the blocking on the day and with so many moving pieces didn't clock that there was a deliberate reason she had to walk and drink at the same time. - Objection! Antrius could inspire himself if he was a Level 14 Lore Bard. - Overruled. Antrius is a College of Swords Bard and is nowhere close to Level 14. - Objection! The Barbarian should have gotten an Opportunity Attack when Antrius turned and walked back to his position. - Overruled. Time reversed and Antrius's turn was undone, so his Attack and movement never happened. What you saw on screen was just a fun visual representation of that. And if that's not enough let's just say the Barbarian had the surprised condition because of the traumatic and unexplainable events he somehow lived through. - Objection! Nixie would have either an Arcane Focus or casting materials, therefore her Fireball cast is valid. - Overruled. The party have previously been mugged, woken up naked, and lost all their shit. Nixie doesn't even know what an Arcane Focus is because Nicole hasn't fully read her character sheet (she canonically can barely read as she struggles to decipher "Create Bonfire"), so even if she happened upon another components pouch she would have carelessly left it behind, not knowing the value it possessed, or replaced the components with fascinating mosses she found on the road. - Objection! The Barbarian should have been given a Str/Dex Check for Antrius knocking him to the ground. - Overruled. Antonio obviously just rolled well enough off-screen. From a filmmaking standpoint it's better for flow to just gloss over a lot of these rolls and assume they happened off-screen and were successful. - Objection! While on the ground the Barbarian went out of initiative order and the party just pummeled him to death without a chance to stand back up. - Sustained. Yes we should have probably shown the Barbarian try to stand but then get pushed back onto the ground, having failed his Strength check, but it would have broken up the flow of the scene so we made a deliberate choice not to include that, which might be confusing to some. We can just assume those checks happened off-screen. - Objection! The party could have combined their strength and dragged the chest to the nearest town. - Overruled. Sure they could have attempted to drag the chest to the nearest town, but that would be overlooking the DM's rocks hovering just above the player's heads waiting to fall and kill them should they try. What else did we get wrong? Let us know here and I may or may not reply because I got a bit carried away and spent way too long writing this 🤣

Holding Antonio's leg still out of frame is enormously hilarious to me and I'm not sure why, perhaps because it makes me think his bardly charisma possesses his body so powerfully and cannot be contained by one mere man. lmao

The party have previously been mugged, woken up naked, and lost all their shit, if that was the case then how could they all be nearing over-incumbrance? it doesn't look like they have any weapons or instruments just the clothes on their back so they could of easyally carried all that gold as they don't have the weight of their usual weapons slowing them down.
