I take it back. Johnny clayton has to be the classiest man in defeat and even when he is winning. Big smile and a fist pump everytime his opponent has a good throw and thats pretty rare nowadays.
Perhaps I wasn't paying attention before, but crowds seem to me to be turning increasingly hostile and vocal, rather than simply cheering their favourites.
For this case in the Netherlands, I think viaplay has to do with it. Before darts was shown om the open channel of RTL which attracted lots of viewers and all players were hugely sympathyzed. Now people stopped watching because of the ridiculous viaplay prizes an the “fans” dont have sympathy with players anymore who are not Dutch. It is a shame that Viaplay are just criminals really.
Unfortunately, you are right. It's not just one country either. It happens across England, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and Netherlands. Someone threw an object off Joe Cullen's head when he was doing his post match interview last night.
@@chrisbosselaar1479 a bit confused cause i looked it up and in denmark it cost near 30 p in british pounds sooo idk if its more expensive in netherlands or if i converted it wrong
I was there yesterday, what a horrible crowd. Extreme drunk people, fighting, the vibe was really agressive and hostile. Sad because me and my girl just wanted to watch the matches and have a good time 😔
Glenn Oh come on compared to british crowds the crowd in Rotterdam was great. They showed more respect to the players than british crowds do 99% of the time. You wanne complain his was not the crowd to moan about. British crowds are far worse.
Hey fellas , , pointless complaining as I have been because its never gonna change , , Why dont they just skip everything & just show the winner hitting the final double , , yes, tgst would be as senseless as showing the winning player at the start , , I give up
Big fan of Joe. Always had the potential to meet with the best of the world, but he finally seems to be able to actually win it against the best. Also just a really respectful guy with a enjoyable playing style
Wonderful, Big up West Yorkshire JC for putting Homer on the bus..... in front of the home crowd, fkn awesome. "HES BACK!!"....err, no, bottle job LOL.
Yeah MVG bottled some finishes but JC had like 4x 100+ finishes go in, so just his lucky night. Same way JC won over Anderson, a TON of luck. Still, a win is a win.
Yeah. It's mad how players seem to have an edge over a certain player. Price beats mvg often just now and clayton beats price. Only for mvg to beat clayton multiple times so it sa funny old game but that's what makes darts the most exciting sport in the world imo. Just seems to have lit up since 2013 onwards and its great to see
Van gerwen scoring is absolutely fantastic right now 🔥🔥 but van gerwen on doubles Is very shaky but he seems on the way back 🙏 darts when mvg is on it makes darts more fun and entertaining 🐐 well done mvg more work on doubles and you will be back ✅
Who gives a toss, the crowd are backing their favourite, if you can’t handle the pressure don’t be a pro. Cullen didn’t bitch about it like Smith did and he won. Simple.
End Times Oh come on compared to british crowds the crowd in Rotterdam was great. They showed more respect to the players than british crowds do 99% of the time. You wanne complain his was not the crowd to moan about. British crowds are far worse.
Samuel Maclelland I know and all the majors and world championship in England the English always booing Van gerwen and price and all the none English players at the world championships the English crowd where vile I don’t like England I don’t think nobody does
The booing wasn't even that intense, especially compared to UK tournaments or the WC. It's also mostly caused by drunks and that's interesting because PDC encourages the crowd to drink all day. Which is great, but this is a consequence.
Weird night of darts. So many stray darts a mile away from target and not the averages you expect to see. But it was great and fun to watch non the less.
This was far from the high octane darts the premier league produces. It was a scrap all night long . They actually looked like pub league players. I LOVED IT IT WAS REFRESHING.
This is when all you lot who don't bother going to watch the darts start complaining about crowds again. Realistically though the crowd was having quite an impact on the players - the majority of whom seemed unsettled. Maybe the acoustics in there make it feel even louder.
It would be nice if the pic for download would stop posting the winner of event so that viewers could have some suspense for a change. Its like watching the ending of movie first ...............
Could the people 🤔 running this channel not make the first comment visible to the prospective viewers because it invariably congratulates the winner ? Having to sort of have my other hand held over the comment section .
Crowd was embarrassing again. Ruining the games week after week, haven't see this much attention and negatively in all my years watching the darts. You know its bad when the players are calling them out.

To be honest, if I had closed my eyes, I would have thought it was amateurs playing in a house league. With averages in the 80's and 90's, I was rather bored. And then I found myself yelling at them. I hope they sleep it off. I have to remember, it's only a game.
Inane comment, not many amateurs play in front of 10,000 screaming and whistling. Also If you can maintain a 90 average you'd become a professional comfortably.
Proper spoiler alert as usual ,,, why aren't I ever surprised , , tried covering the screen b4 I watched but caught a glimpse of Cullens top , , gonna ring sky sports & get it back to watch it L.i.v.e. from now on , , won't be back on this channel again !! Why on earth do you's do this !!!
Crowd aren't going to watch and enjoy the darts anymore, people are going to either get pissed and abuse and annoy all the players, or to support their favourtie and disrespect the others, it's been awful since the Worlds and the pdc have to do something to stop it asap

Why even bother posting these “highlights” when you’re just going to show the winner in the thumbnail anyway? What’s there to watch when we already know the outcome before clicking the video? Pointless
Gary with 100 left: 5 first dart. Loses leg. Gary with 120 left: 20, 1, 19. Loses leg. Gary with 6 darts at 77 to win match: bottles. Loses match. Joe: asks the ref how much he had left once in the match. Gary 😠 Gary to Joe: "you're a cheat you know what you did" 🤣🤣 Bro I'm a dumpster player and could've finished better than that with less moaning.
Why is lovely to see just out of curiosity 😂. Your not one those sados that likes seeing someone lose. The man has a family and is actually one the nicest guys on tour. Ths fully nothing like taylor who may be the best on paper but was the most arrogant vile man u will ever meet. Hate seeing good guys get dissed for no reason. Not like he acts like a fanny or that so I jhst don't get it at all. Root for the other guy aye but to just laugh coz someone lost is pretty sad. I'm guessing u didn't like when he white washed phil taylor and also now holds the record for pdc tour events. Also has the record for most 9 darters. Why would u hate a guy that brings that to the game and gives us moments we have never seen like his 17 perfect darts or his 20+ 9 darters. Pretty sad tbh. I hate taylor as person but lived what the guy done at times. How could u not
Cullen had a barely mid 80 average through the night and had about 30% checkout success rate. He was the second best player in all his games pretty much but won all.
@@resonatorneuronium5324 Not sure he’s going to be crying at the fact you think played bad and he only he fluked it when he’s got 5 more points on the board, if he played so badly how come the world number one and the great mvg not beat him?
