This is for Evelyn Esquivel: The reasons you let it age a bit are: 1) it gives the alcohol time to kill any salmonella, 2) it gives time for the flavors to develop. In my house it never lasted long enough to test a long ageing time. So try it and see . . . If you can wait 🤔 ❔ 🥃 The alcohol strength may decrease with a long ageing time ?

My dad's recipe : 1 pint rum, 6, eggs, 1tin evaporated milk, 1tin condensed milk, nutmeg to suit. Put it in an old Fuller's Strong Rum bottle, let it "age" a few days and 🎉🎈🎄PARTY🎈🎉🎆🎄
