I think he is making a big mistake. I don’t think his coaching style will fit in with a power 5 team. People have to understand that boosters run power 5 teams. And the pressure will be on him to win right away. Good luck to him. But I don’t see him being dominant at the next level. As for his son being in the heisman race. Come on. He is a good quarterback. But he isn’t a outstanding quarterback. He was very inconsistent during the season. Yes he had some good games. But he also had some bad games. He didn’t dominate week in and week out. And playing at a power 5 school. He will have to be consistent every week in order to be in that race.

@kwannp6141 Год назад
GLM, you hit the nail on the coffin! Now, besides myself, and I lived in CO, he doesn't fit the liberal, white, hippie Boulder... his style of play will be fine at a Power5, but not CU. Listen, I respect what Coach Prime has done at JSU. Bit that model I'm Boulder, I don't see it. You're right - I saw on the news today CU also offered him $5mil... this brotha on this video said USF offered him $5... everyone keeps talking Power5 - but CU has been competitive 1yr since being in the PAC12... I agree with you, Shadeur has been inconsistent when teams blitz him in FCS - HBCU. What in the world fo you think is going to happen when he sees - Utah, USC, UCLA, OR, OSU, WA, WSU, a much better AZ..??? And trust me, the HBCU don't throw on Travis, the PAC12 will and often... And I heard Prime didn't even visit Boulder??? I saw Prime back in the day play baseball in CO when he was with the Braves... different visiting versus living and it wasn't cold that day.... Listen, Prime is good, but he is not God and so if people think he's going to walk into the PAC12 next year and compete, you are goingvto be disappointed.... I think Prime should go to USF, they offered him 5yrs and they will give him the full 5yrs, CU will not. Coach Prime will get $5 + stadium input, plus complete control on rebuilding a FL program in which the Big12 wants USF, but only if they're competitive - Prime can make that happen! He can do damage to SEC recruiting at USF - warm all the time, not at CU - cold.... he will not win at CU, but he can at USF which will put him in contention for the Florida job in 3yrs because that coach will be fired... possibly Miami, too... Shadeur needs a redshirt year before playing FBS.... he got injured against Alabama A&M... did you see the PAC12 game last night and the hit that Utah qb took? And he's a big kid! This brotha on this video is so correct and I'm glad he said it because I too, have said the same damn thing - JSU failed themselves by not working for 3yrs to get Prime more money! He could have leverage off of what Puff did donating $1mil and Puff is a Howard alum! Oprah, Shaq, Jordan, all say they want to help us Blacks, that AD should have been on their asses about following through and honestly, I think at least two of them would have given up at least $1mil each to keep Prime at JSU....

*If Deion gave a departure speech, it would probably go something like this:* Yes! I'm having a press conference because that's how I get down. To my JSU family, friends, members of the media and even enemies if God forbid there be any, greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The Bible says that *"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven."* *(Ecclesiastes 3:1)* When I answered God's call and accepted the job here at JSU, I had no idea how long my season would be. But God! God had a plan, and he has never made a mistake. When Moses was all set to lead the children into the promised land, God told him that his season was over. His assignment was complete, Then He told him to go and anoint Joshua as his successor. *(Numbers 27:18)* And God, allowed Moses to look over into the promised land, a land flowing with milk and honey. To my Thee I Love Family, I want you to know that I've looked over, and I've seen the promised land. I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land. And so I'm happy tonight; I'm not worried about anything; I'm not fearing any man. I've spent countless hours on my knees in deep conversation with God. And I was reminded of the words of the Lord in the Garden of Gethsemane on the Eve of his crucifixion, *"Father, if you are willing, take this cup away from me; nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.” (Luke 22:42)* Family, it's not my will but the will of God for me to announce that I have accepted the position of head football coach at the University of Colorado, effective immediately. I am sadden to leave the best school, the best administration, the best fan base and the best team in all of college football, and Neely, I mean that. But while sadden, I'm also elated at the future God has in store for this family as well as myself. Ashley, God told me to tell you that it ain't over; that He has already raised up your Joshua to be revealed at the appointed time. God said to write the vision and make it plain, so that he who reads it can run well until the appointed time. *(Habakkuk 2:2-3)* The vision has been written and it has been made plain, so run with it. Now is the appointed time. Amen? I will take a few questions now cause that's how I get down. Rob Jay, don't you come here with no bull junk!

Coach prime is the best thing to happen to HBCU’s since we don’t know when. He came in and exposed how weak these football programs were in 2-3 years and completely TOOK OVER! This is where we get to see HBCU’s worth in football. Will they rise up to the standard that coach prime set for the SWAC or will they fall back down to mediocrity and be forgotten again?
@kingpayne3390

Also like to note how JSU almost blew out every opponent they played in the swac. The swac might not get 5star players but that’s no reason for almost every team to get blown out when they play JSU. Look what happened in the championship game against southern… Southern look defeated before the game even started. A lot of players don’t even look like they lift weights. 2023 will really show if HBCU football is really the hype everyone made it to be since coach prime has been there or just go back to being the down talk of all leagues again.

Coach Prime's coaching needs some refinement to translate into being successful on the next level from my observations. Sheduer will have to drastically improve in not turning over the rock. I hope that I'm wrong and I wish him well.

5 years, 5 million at Florida really those other coaches make 10 million plus and they fail but that don't matter as long as they are Caucasian and they know it, don't have to hide it and don't care who know it.

FCS schools do not have the financial resources to compete with FBS power five programs end of case. I am unaware of any FCS program retaining a coach when an FBS power five program is attempting to lure the coach away.

Black people are only happy when we’re all broke together. The State of Mississippi has not paid him any money, offered him an extension or even clean water! I was tired of watching him beg for more resources for the last two years. We don’t put this type of pressure on politicians, law enforcement or school boards. This one Black man should go where he’ll be paid and appreciated.
