Mathias!!! Har set denne samt andre af dine drum cam videoer såå mange gange, og først nu finder jeg ud af at du er dansk!? Ha, så meget for ikke at læse beskrivelsen😆 Men hey, kæmpe optur! Kendte slet ikke til Herlev Musical? Har I spillet Hairspray?? Tjekkede lige hjemmesiden ud, men der kan jeg ikke se den nemlig. Anyway, jeg vil da skynde mig at abonnere og følge med i hvad du laver! Jeg er egentlig selv primært pianist (og musicalfan, kan du måske fornemme), men i løbet af de seneste år har jeg virkelig fået gang i trommerne (er lige fyldt 18☺). Fedt man!

So much fun to play Hairspray songs! No doubt! I also have a video of “You Can’t Stop the Beat”, that’s a busy tune! Love it! And thanks for the support!

Id love to get into jobs like this! They seem so fun. How would you recommend moving from drumming in my room to getting on stage?

The fastest way is of course to have some friends who play Music, so you can start playing together and get ready for live gigs. Another way that has worked for me is different networking groups on facebook. Groups where people search for musicians for their projects. To get jobs like the one in the video, I just wrote an e-mail to the guy in charge of the music, and asked him if they needed a drummer. It’s an amateur theater group. In professional theater, and professional gigs in general, it’s all about who knows who and who gets recommended to you etc. So get out there and play as much live as you can! You’ll meet new people, who will provide you with new opportunities! Cheers :)
