Really disappointed in the judges. I think they should have just gave it to him as he was the clear winner. If the rule is falls on the cat track don't count, the edge of the cat track is what pulled his ski off and so he was off balance before the cat track but wasn't falling or losing a ski until he was on it. Everyone was riding so strong though. What an event!

looks like the adrenaline gave up after that huge backflip you can hear him in the gopro edit he went all out and just lost the juice at the end he was so hyped after that flip who wouldnt be he is still a winner no matter what judges said

I would love to hear from Drew as to if the massive gash in his ski caused by his landing on the rocks very early on had anything to do with the crash?! Watch the gopro footage side by side if you want to doubly enjoy this amazing run, I've watched at least a dozen times now

Easily. Not to take anything away from the run you mention, but an 80' backflip beats a 60' cliff drop any day of the freaking week!

Score it!! He clearly made it on the cat track/finish line and THEN immediately lost his ski. His right leg was on the road before his left ski ejected, therefore his run should count. In past years when I competed in this event, the cat track was considered the finish line. What happens after you reach the line should be disregarded. Fantastic run nevertheless.
