27:56 Sawyer is a real playmaker. probably one of our best players on the whole team. going into the season I was thinking Kaden Jenkins would be the best but he hasn’t really shown up too much. Also thought after Air Force that maybe Washington would be our best player. but yeah, it’s been Robertson imo
I posted this in the comments previously, but it's still THE problem. Price has a grade of 62.9 to lead the OL. Aigbedion is the only other OL with a grade above 60. The next highest grades are in the 40s. Great OL have grades in the 90s. Baylor has two mediocre OL, and the rest of them are poor. That's why Baylor can't get a RB established. That's why one QB and three RBs are injured. Baylor won't be able to run the ball or keep backs healthy until this problem is addressed.
I’ve been a broken record on this since 2022. To learn that we had millions to spend and yet didn’t prioritize our (by far!) worst position group? That’s baffling. Yes, we brought in guys. They’re almost all backing up last yr’s starters and backups. Pathetic and Dave needs to be fired last yr. The right hire in 11/23 could have this team at 5-1. Incredibly soft b12 schedule this yr. (CFB overall top tier quality is way down - not just b12.)
@@donhaney9847 No HC could ever hope for as much support as Mack has given Dave. He’s had 6 coordinators in 5 seasons. That’s got to be a record. It was obvious he needed to be fired last yr. Yet, Mack’s ego wouldn’t allow him to make the obvious decision. So, Mack tripled down and poured what could have been buyout money into Dave’s vision. Mack might as well have burned that money bc it was almost all wasted.
@@Tyler_Kent I think he has fired a dozen coaches total. You can only blame the assistants for so long. At some point, it has to be the head coach that is to blame. The only consistency is not being ready to play.
The only way our Bears can run the ball with this O-line is for Robertson to follow the blocks of Washington or Richardson while spreading the field with 4-wides. Robertson is a big boy although I worry about an injury to him like everyone else does. Gotta put it on the table if dubyas are to come. MAKE tech defend the run to open up the passing game wide open. The rpo is effective IF the run game is actually a threat. I thought that the spread HUNH was designed to win regardless of how poorly the O-line played but that's just not happening. Was psyched about Spavital's offense before the season began but have really been down seeing it in action. The trenches are the most important part of a football team and our Bears have very few quality players there. Neither recruiting nor the portal has fixed the woeful line play. I'm too old for the Bears to be this bad. I selfishly need to see another good Bears team before I croak like a damned frog...
How are we supposed to run the ball when we haven’t been able to run the ball the entire season thus far honest to God I’ve not seen more than two or three different plays. I just don’t understand how run the ball is gonna beat tech!
Well they haven’t established the run all year. They have lost more games than they have won. Therefore, if they improve on that aspect of the game they have been poor in, it should lead to better results!
Cam, BAYLOR is done. You can't shine a turd then call it a gold bar. Say Cam, go listen to the Deftones - Beware and be taken away from the crude delusional world of Baylor Football. -THE END
