I like how apparent this video makes the fact that they feed so hard off the energy of the crowd. This was an amazing performance and I am surprised how hard they went at it, but you can tell throughout that they want interaction. Makes them that much better! I love how real these guys are!

Additionally, because there's no live crowd, they know the most important thing is to record their voice clearly, since 100% of the audience will only hear it and not see it live. That probably limits their desire to move about, due to the risk of rapping clearly. Their minimal dancing around could easily be perceived as holding back or not feeling energetic.

AS AN ENTERTAINER …. on the stage you are in a zone mentally ...its like a switch and some of us can flip it to auto censor the words, and not even think about it really …. it becomes kind of like a second nature after a while I guess … so many stages and radio interviews etc and you just can "do it" without the cussing , but it really is like a switch because you have to make it clear to me its the rule LOL

As much as I love RTJ I can't help but be bothered about the fact they're heavily cupping the mic. It could be intentional and I can understand/appreciate the thinking behind if that was indeed the case... But I'd be very surprised if they've gone their entire careers ignorant of impacting muffled effect it gives on the vocal equality, these guys don't need to strain themselves anymore either...
