For everyone complaining about the crowd, RTJ was playing to a mostly unfamiliar audience. Most of the people were just hanging out in this cool underground bar and RTJ was the entertainment.
Every comment is bitching about the crowd while no one is appreciating how fucking insane the production on this video is. For once, the music is loud enough and the vocals cut through just right. AND if you watch this even a third through, you won't have a reason to complain about the crowd since they do warm up pretty quick.
+finowa I couln't agree more! I think this was done by La Blogotheque - their videos are always phenomenally recorded and produced. Also I agree completely on the crowd - I don't see a shit crowd, I see Run The Jewels stirring up a crowd - who likely don't know most/any of their songs - into a near-frenzy. That isn't easy.
+finowa Dead on. They knew how to get em going too. That's what's worth commenting on in regards to the crowd. They could have gotten all pissy about the slow-to-warm-up crowd, but they just fuckin did their job and killed it instead.
That was fucking sick, run the jewels has become my new favorite shit and I'm glad to see that if they ever come threw live, they would be worth seeing...
Guys, I don't know where in Paris this live took place, but as a French person I can assure you that this crowd of boho posers are not representative of the French people.
@@worldwidehiphop. idk about that. Any hip hop show I've seen I'm hyped after the opener and if I ever saw rtj I'd be going nuts after the first 10 seconds regardless if I've done anything
The production of this is amazing. Truth is crowds nowadays are like this all over the place. I live in college town and all the younger kids expect to have their own personal space around them at all times and get pissed when someone's in it. No one wants to get dirty anymore.
They won that crowd over though. Thats a good feeling to see more and more people getting into it despite the tension at the beginning, everyone was vibing by the end of that set
Honestly the crowd started getting into it in a big way after a while, if there's anyone who could rouse an inert crowd it's these two consumate performers.
WTF IS THIS CROWD!!! buscemidonuts NONONONOOOoo the 13th december. I was in, we were just burning!!! it took place at "la Bellevilloise" I don't know where and when this one was shot..

what the hell is wrong with these people? I saw RTJ live in Quebec a couple weeks ago and everyone was jumping around like crazy, mosh pits were in play, i almost lost my cellphone and my wallet. It was so goddamn crazy that El-P had to tell everyone to calm down so we don't hurt each other, twice. I wish i could relive this moment again RTJ is the shit!
You gotta understand that 90% of the crowd don't understand English, that's why they took such a long time to get hyped, they couldn't understand what Killer Mike & El-P were saying inbetween the songs
Damn, after that first beat hits and they cut to the wide shot with the crowd, I expected to see shit gettin crazy. I was truly shocked to see no movement at all.
